We have only one hour for lunch so I usually call ahead so they can have our food ready by the time we walk over. Love the egg-rolls, always order it for appetizer doesn't matter we have pho or rice. People work there are really friendly.

Fast service and good food. Wife thought the broth was on the sweeter side but the rest of the family loved it. Everything was packaged nicely and pho, egg rolls and rice dish all tasted great.

The barbecued beef and eggroll was delicious. What a great combination They even gave me a complementary soup broth. It was perfect with the noodles. Food came quick and the place was clean. Definitely could warrant another visit since it was the only restaurant open in the strip mall at the time

It is truly a mediocre pho place. I would not say it was a bad pho but really just an ok pho. Service was really bad that they don't even bother once asking to refill water. Still gave one more star for good egg rolls. Egg rolls were hot and delicious. Oh, too much MSG by the way. So it would be more accurate if I can give 2.5 stars instead of 3.

Pho Lyfe is my go-to when I crave a quick meal of hot pho. Among different pho places I tried, their broth is served the hottest. The restaurant space is pretty big so usually there's no problem with seating, and parking is decent since this is located in a large plaza. They kept some decor and seating the same from the previous establishment, so it's relatively comfortable in there. Like other pho places, you order and then pay at the counter when you're done. I typically order a small combination pho, and it's enough for me (as a smaller eater). Prices have gone up over the years, but portions are still reasonable. The tendons and some meats are a bit tough and hit or miss sometimes, but overall still a reliable spot for a quick meal.

Food: nothing like a "authentic" Vietnamese food! (I've never been to Vietnam but I assume it's probably close/similar to what it tastes like in Vietnam) I loved the pho, rice plate and fried egg rolls! (You NEED to order it!) I'll give it a 4.5/5. Service: I have no complaint! They are very friendly and pleasant. I was greeted with a smile! 5/5. Ambiance: There was a certain scent that I was trying to figure out. I'm not sure exactly if it's the aroma or bay leaf kinda minty scent. Other than that, it's also has Vietnam feel 4/5.

I was excited to try this place after placing delivery order and my food coming out decent for delivery and local to me. Mobile apps are usually a hit or miss and this one was smack dab in the middle. My take out portion was good so I thought maybe dining inside would be better.I wasn't really greeted but I was sat down right away. The dining set up reminds me of how I went to vietnamese restaurants when I grew up so they get points for nostalgia. Someone took my order and I ordered large pho. I was about to order coffee but then my server walked away right after. I had to call to the head cashier to put in my drink order. My pho came out SUPER quick, under 2 minutes. But my rare beef slices were already cooked before it got to my table. I have no idea how long it sat in broth but they were scarce and all well done floating inbetween the noodles and bottom. I honestly thought they gave me the wrong order. The meat balls were also scarce. They cut up the balls into quarters so I had one and a half meat ball if it was assembled together. I would probably stay away from the rare beef slice combo-anything. The portion was not there or even. Just stick with one meat to get a better quantity in your pho.The iced coffee, is very strong, BUT very small. Less than 8oz it looked like with light ice. Maybe 7oz? 6oz? Hard to tell. Some customers are rude, I can understand why they do quick service to get a flow of service rotation. Customers demanding to be sat at a booth when it's either just a single person or when a table hasn't been bussed. I saw two people wait by a dirty table to get cleaned. I don't know if Customers know but other customers coming in that see that, will think the staff isn't doing their job. I saw the whole thing, that table barely left before the two stood next to it. If I had to deal with that I would probably give the same type of service as well. The door is open so it's really drafty, wear something warm.

One of the better Pho spots in Santa Clara. Lowkey vibe. Broth was great and fresh noodles were perfect. I'm bookmarking this place.

Coworkers were craving pho and I wanted something refreshing, Pho Lyfe was perfect for us. They both ordered pho and I had bun thit nuong. Atmosphere was lively with lots of tech company employees here for lunch. Reasonable prices, a little bit far from our office but would definitely come back!

Very good pho in the San Jose area. Tasty hot and large bowls. The meat tastes very fresh and the well done brisket has no aftertaste. (Fresh)Ordered the combo pho and it was very tasty and remarkable compared to any options I have in Santa Cruz.
