This is a nice place to hang out with friends, good food for a good price, and nice people for staff. They bake their popular chocolate chip cookies several times a day and still run out quickly; so order the cookie first because even if it's not ready while ordering they'll reserve it for you by the time you're done with your meal.
This place seems a little overpriced for what you get. A lot of open space to sit but it feels more like a cafeteria with the openness and the high ceilings then a coffee shop/lunch spot/cafe. I bought a sandwich and got a sandwich no sides no fancy bread and not filling.
My sweetheart was across the street in the hospital, and the staff kept offering him food, but with cautionary warnings. "I can get you a chicken sandwich, but you can probably get better food across the street." The sandwiches I bought at Specialty's were delicious and sustained him until I got him home!"
