Had a really good experience here when we dined here as a group of 4. The food was excellent, especially the soup base recipe was much better than other hotpot restaurants I've been to. The owner and servers were all really nice and efficient, preemptively bringing us wagyu beef when we have ran out.

Had tried several all-you-can-eat hot pot in the bay area. This one is very unique in terms of its 1) pot soup, 2) beef plate, and 3) source. For the soup they have the signature "black oily sesame soup (can't recall its name)" which is really/specially tasty. You don't need any source with it. For the beef, their wagyu (和牛) is tender and softly chewy, without taking only the fatty part of beef, very delicious. At last for the source, you have to try its...
@taichipotshabu is hands down the BEST authentic Japanese shabu shabu in the Bay Area. Just look at the marbling on the meat and the richness of the broths. The best part, it’s AYCE! Service is amazing and they really make it feel like you’re having a comforting meal at home.
