POOR CUSTUMER SERVICE! If you are looking for a place with absolute horrible customer service, this your go to place! I called and spoke to Marlene, asked a couple of questions regarding cake flavors and if they deliver, she answered my questions, I said thank you, and she hung up without saying anything else after I said thank you. That is rude in my opinion. I called back right after because I wanted to let the manager know about my experience and to give my opinion regarding their customer service, Emily answered, I asked if there was anyone above Marlene and she said no, that Marlene is the owner. I was shocked and commented, "wow, she is pretty rude to be an owner." Emily then hung up on me too!Marlene then called me back a few minutes later saying that she was told that I said she was rude. I said yes she was rude in my opinion. She would not let me explain why I thought she was rude and denied it and denied Emily hanging up on me as well. I told her that it was my opinion and that I would express my opinion on Google Reviews, she replied with okay, we will see you there....Okay! What a great example for your employees!

My husband and I enjoy a good fancy cupcake and we've been trying to find a good one out in SCV. We we came across Dangling Carrot we were excited to have a new option. He purchased a banana something cupcake, churro, and red velvet. They were decent cupcakes. But they weren't anything that I'm itching to have again. Somehow they managed to be moist yet crumbly at the same time. When I took off the paper to cut a piece off it just crumbled which I didn't enjoy. I think of the 3 flavors, I most enjoyed the churro. The red velvet was more on the chocolatey side of red velvet than the tangy which I prefer. You can tell that they do use quality ingredients. The staff was also friendly. Oh and he also got a drink which he said was good. If we're nearby I may try a different flavor to see if the crumbly texture may have been a fluke.

Tried 4 flavors of their cupcakes and I was surprised that none of them "wowed" me. They're not awful but the flavors and texture (except for the carrot cupcake which was very moist) --something you can get from grocery stores half the price. Additional 1 star for their service. Staff was super friendly. The place itself is cute and very clean.

I called on 3/16 to ask if they had any in-house cakes made... they don't while i was trying to ask the person who answered the phone some questions they hanged up on me ... before that the way the spoke to me was rude like I should automatically know that they didn't have any cakes simply it left a bad taste in my mouth and would skip on using themFunny you say that they all did hang up on me I called 3... your store stood out because I wasn't even given the chance to ask a question if the woman who answered the phone would have at least given me the respect to ask me if I even need that but no mid sentence I was hanged up on .. your answer speaks volumes never taking responsibility or acknowledging what a customer felt makes me think how many customers you have made feel like if they had a problem it wasn't important

Came here for a birthday treat and I was blown away by how adorable this place is! Everything is decorated and super cute. They have a great selection of treats. The very nice lady there told us about how it was all made and it was a great experience and great treats too! Thank you!

There is a spot over by the Edwards Cinema that is pretty well hidden and if you know it is there, you can grab yourself a really tasty cupcake! I'm not sure how long Dangling Carrot Confections has been at this location but I do remember this location has always been a bakery/sweets spot for some time. I went in after having a pretty good sized lunch (or was it lunches) and as I drove by I wondered if they were open. Sure enough the sugar gods were on my side and I went in and ordered a Cinnamon Roll Cupcake. The frosting on top is what sold me to get it. And yes, it does taste like a Cinnamon Roll without the gooey mess. Usually I'm not a person who like to eat sweets but this really hit the spot for me. For this review and like many others I rarely give out 5 stars, 4 means that I will be back to try something else and that yes it's great! I get the impression this place is really for those looking to get a special occasion cake like a wedding cake, the displays look incredible. Incredibly polite, considerate, and accommodating as humanely as possible when given such short notice. I really appreciate all they did given the nature of the situation I had to secure a cake. Definitely love their mocha frappe cake. Never had anything like it before. Absolutely incredible team.Of course, a Karen would give this place a one star but, we all know, not to take a Karen's word for it.

cCustomer service was great. I enjoyed my eggnog latte. It is a little pricey. I got a whole bunch of cake pops and cupcakes. It was recommended that the churro one was a good one and the frosting was delicious. I just wish that maybe it would be a little bit bigger for the price and a little bit more moist.

This review is long past overdue. Every once in awhile a truly fantastic gem pops up in Santa Clarita Valley, and Dangling Carrot is absolutely one of them. To start, the storefront is adorable. Clean, well kept, usually seasonally decorated with the sweetest display of daily cupcakes, cookies and sometimes cake pops. They serve coffee and ice cream there too! Besides being adorable, the quality, price and taste of their products is enough for me to go up two sizes this year! (Kidding, but not kidding, I'm in love) Jokes aside, it's so good I try to pick up a dozen cupcakes whenever we have a special occasion for a nice treat such as first day of school, friends birthdays etc. My boys favorite flavor cupcake is for sure the Churro (sweet cinnamon cake with luscious cream cheese frosting?) and the banana chocolate chip-made with real bananas! My husband loves their seasonal flavor Apple crisp. The most significant part of this review though is the customer service-we ordered a custom smash cake for our sons 1st birthday. It turned out amazing, and the owner was so accommodating of our request and was very easy to work with. Very reasonably priced for a custom cake, we also ordered on rather short notice and the owner never made us feel bad about it. We received tons of compliments on the cake (we went with vanilla birthday cake) and the assorted cupcakes we purchased as well: churro, red velvet, butter pecan and apple crisp-not a single cupcake left, and very little cake leftover. Delicious. Adorable. All the things I hope this place is around for a long, long time. Remember shop small in this difficult season folks!

I think they need to have different items on hand to sell. Quanity is important when you have a lovely display case. So people can really see what they can create! People will get excited!
