We stopped here on our way to Van Nuys looking for a bakery. We were delighted to find a variety of Italian cookies that we all enjoyed. The cookies were a little pricey but buttery and very good. The service was so welcoming and friendly. Although we are not locals I wouldn't mind coming back again when passing through.
I wasn't impressed with the two sandwiches we had. Sandwiches are small for the price and the large are too expensive. We will have to try something different to get a real sense of what they offer
The staff is very attentive and efficient... the food is ok.. $11.99 for a small meatball sub $18.99 for the large... the large didn't look substantially bigger for the price jump... had to add cheese for extra $$... the meatball sub on the hard roll was mediocre. Maybe I ordered the wrong item here... the roll ended up being very soft. It seems like they take a large meatball, cut it in half and smash each half the roll... the sandwich was all mushy.. might give it another...
