This place was good until the server started acting out of the ordinary when we said we will be back. We left our phone and credit card just to not give the wrong impression. We came back and ordered extra drinks. The server then comes to us saying “ i was told that you need to drink water”. Mind you, we were not drunk. My boyfriend is not from the US so they assumed we were drunk because he had an accent. I honestly felt uncomfortable by that comment and discriminated against. Not going back ever again.

This is in response to your comment. The situation on its own was very insulting and uncomfortable. She did not just offer us water. She said “ they want you to drink water” and kept watching us from far. Just because we ordered an extra sake did not necessarily mean we were going to drink it. There was no behavior to indicate we were intoxicated. Your server kept nervously approaching us and checking if we drank water. I felt so uncomfortable that I told your server to bring water so she does not get in trouble. We are responsible adults and have never been treated this way anywhere else. Your server herself made a comment “ Thai is in my head that’s why i just want to make sure you guys drink the water”. Now i am not sure who Thai is but it would be appropriate if your manager stepped in and spoke to us if there was a real concern instead of placing your server in that uncomfortable situation. The approach takes was very inappropriate. Additionally, your server kept saying “ You don't look drunk” as in just me and not my bf. When i said why just me? He's not from here maybe he has an accent? She said ohh ok yeah. Maybe provide more training in customer service to your staff?

I hadn't been here in years. We went because my husband is trying to cut out white rice and it turns out you can get brown rice sushi. They have a good selection and the bar is small and cozy

Dietary restrictions: They serve brown rice.

Our cook seemed less than thrilled to be at work. I went for my birthday and he was not very friendly. He was doing the normal things just not with any enthusiasm.

We experienced great food quality, great service, and lovely atmosphere at this place. The place is nice and clean, service is fast, the staff are very friendly, the chiefs are true artists with fun shows while cooking! You get the best for the price. It’s always a go back to.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. He always gets the teriyaki chicken and I always like to switch it up from the chicken and the steak. The food is super amazing but the number one reason why we come here is their Fried Rice. We always order 2 bowls each. It's so freaking delicious 🤤 We love taking some home for leftovers the next day.

Still a top notch place in the SCV to get amazing hibachi dinner and great sushi. The place could use some updating but it's a nice dinner spot.

I always have a hard time ordering sushi because of my shellfish allergy. Not here Ashley hooked me up with the perfect roll. A real girl's girl. Made it a memorable experience.

Fish was delicious, no fishy after taste. Definitely will be coming back.

Dietary restrictions: I can't have shellfish and they were willing to adjust the rolls so I could enjoy more options.

This place was absolutely spectacular! R
The sushi is amazing, the teriyaki steak and chicken was a huge portion and we even saved some room to try the fried rice cream. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff was kind and quick. Their bar is fully stocked, but we didn't have any. I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Worth the drive to try it!

We've been long time customers. It's always a fun place for a celebration. Our server, Wayan, was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Our chef, whose name I neglected to get, made the BEST fried rice--on par with Mikado's in Palm Desert which is our family's high bar for teppan fried rice. I love that you still get the shrimp appetizer because a few other teppan places I checked out don't. The birthday drumming and singing was fun and original. The only downside is the unattractive blocked off bar area and the off-putting signs. Also, the Cinema Drive entrance has no signage, so some of our party had trouble finding the restaurant.

We love this place. My wife has been coming here since she was 3 months old.
Very good food and unique atmosphere! Highly recommend this place. Whether you just want sushi or a full show at the Teppan grills, you get it all here!

Pretty good, great for family dinners. Pay by the ounce, a lil crowded. Recommend . Would go again. Take a while for food to be ready.

Ever since there main sushi chef left that place has been turned into the worst sushi you have ever ate. On my last and final visit I got food poisoning for 3 days. Will never go back. Horrible service and waitress. Found out from the Manager that they hire under age employees there. Say La vee.
