Ramen was okay. Nothing special. What stood out was the lacking service and atmosphere. My family and I walk in. This is a place where you have to order first before eating. I place my order, the cashier had to re put in the order 3 times. It took about 5 minutes and re iterating what we wanted. Then, the question: "can you please choose an option on the screen?" with a pleading, guilt inducing tone. The lowest option was 15%. I wasn't impressed already by the fact that the place was nearly empty, and how long it took to punch the order in the register, and the cook in the back was just standing there waiting instead of starting the order which was verbally repeated 3 times. But whatever, I was a waitress so I put the 15%. My family and I wait for the food. No water was served. The food arrives about 10-15 minutes later. I asked which one was X Ramen (the one I ordered.) Waiter states the wrong one, so I had to awkwardly switch bowls with my dad. Still no water. Asked for some and we got it. Meal cost $60 for the three of us.... not worth it at all. 18% is the new industry standard and Kotsu in Santa Clarita did not deserve the 15% I gave initially... will not be returning or recommending

Ramen was surprisingly good. The location feels sketch though, and the front window was boarded up - apparently people have broken in twice in the last month. We were there on a weekend a few hours before closing and we were the only people there. Sadly I think the location hurts this place. Still, it’s worth it and we’ll be back.

I love the ramen here which is generally what I order. The place is very clean and menu is very well laid out. One small criticism is the lack of staff training. Hardly any follow up with the meal and nobody mans the the front most of the time I go there. Previously there was a front waitress that were amazingly pleasant.

Went in at 12pm on a Thursday which would be lunch time for most people…restaurant was completely empty. Literally no one there to take my order. There aren’t many ramen places in SCV, I would skip this for instant ramen.

I went to this place for the first time and it was okay. The ramen I got was flavorful and my husband enjoyed his too. We were not fond of the pork though, it was pretty tough and tasteless. The atmosphere was so awkward. It was completely silent (no music or tv) and the cashier, who seemed like she was forcing out having to say have a good night and thank you seemed so down and just looked like she did not want to be there. I’d visit here again if I was in the area but I wouldn’t drive out of my way.

The ramen was delicious ? I got a spicy tofu one & my daughter got a chicken broth based version. Both were super yummy ? The service was amazing & what I loved the most about this place is that the hot broth was served in paper containers, not plastic! To me that is everything ???? Way to go, Kotsu Ramen & Gyoza ?
