They do NOT tell you that egg is not included (despite including it in the menu). After asking for the egg they said that because of current prices they don't add egg to the dishes and still charge full amount. Server responded with an attitude when being questioned.

Also...they replace bamboo with spinach on dishes just because "customers rarely want bamboo" without telling you. Very unprofessional.

For $15 there was barely any vegetables and sub par flavor. Barely any green onions and corn. The chicken was bland. This was my second time giving it another try. Staff was short and there was no one there to be short and rushed.

My first time coming here was with coworkers over a year ago…. Tasteful ramen! Then I started bringing my family, and we stop by every now and then when I bring up ramen for dinner/lunch… Masa Ramen has become my go to place & at this point I don’t plan on venturing else where in SCV for ramen. The service is always great and the owners (I’m guessing) are always pleasant and genuine as well. My family is a fan of One Piece so we enjoy the pictures they have around the shop.
My go to ramen is the chipotle ramen, my kids tend to go for the masa, shoyu, or chipotle ramen as well. My partner’s go to is the curry ramen and the spicy mabo ramen. Appetizers that are our go to are the gyoza, chicken karaage and the chicken fried rice. The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!🌟Just had to say put that in here.

I thought the shoyu ramen was good for portion size and the chicken katsu was somewhat authentic. Nothing seemed of about the restaurant. I get that some reviews mention their demeanor, however in their defense, I will say that they aren’t fully fluent in English(in the sense that their accent isn’t American) so it may seem like that. But anyway you gotta love a mom and pop restaurant.

Vegetarian options: Decent small

Parking: Around restaurant I think

As a big ramen enthusiast, I was disappointed with this experience. I tried the miso ramen, but it missed the mark. Instead of the traditional chili oil, they offered sriracha sauce on the side, which didn’t quite fit. The meat was chewy and lacked freshness, and the soup had an odd froth on top that left me questioning its quality.
