Excellent bar and the drinks are top notch! Worth a night out and chill.
This place was definitely such a beautiful surprise. We arrived on a Friday, the start to my Mother’s Day weekend (thank you baby you’re the best). The food was AMAZING! We started the night with the scallops as an appetizer and it had chorizo, good twist. My bf also ordered steak and it was also delicious. The drinks were 10/10 and the atmosphere was also nice. Sidecar is Santa Clarita’s very first speakeasy, a hidden gem in Old Town with a warm, cozy, and stylish vibe that captures the speakeasy/20s atmosphere. It is an intimate setting, perfect for a relaxed night out or to enjoy a drink and catch up with a friend. The experience is wonderful and feels very special.
The cocktails are excellent and impressive, with an impressive liquor shelf. Specific drinks mentioned include the Old Fashioned, gin and tonics, the Tickle My Tiki (strong and full of pineapple flavor), the Acapulco (sweet), and the Sneaky Hibiki (strong). It is recommended to ask about drink specials. The food is first-class with outstanding flavors, described as culinary at its best and food heaven, even though it's a small menu.
