As a former Coffee Bean employee I think the staff here really needs to be re-trained. The staff is usually standing around talking with each other about their personal lives and working like snails. The wait is always unnecessary long due to to how slow they work. As an example I ordered a drip coffee and it took them 10 minutes to pour it in the cup. When I worked at coffee bean that was something that the person at the register did right away while the customer was paying.
It's not all about that one coffee place...Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is worth going a bit further in your travels. Been to the two locations in SCV, found the staff rather unhappy at this one in Valencia on the several occassions we visited. We do really like the coffee, not so fond of the service. Hopefully, it will improve.

This is a great Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf location. It has been a while since I have been back to this coffee shop location and I am happy to say that their service is still as good as it has always been. The coffee is still just as good and they have some great new options.
