Where do I even start Apéro Club simply is one of my new favorite places on Earth. I was shown this spot a couple weeks ago by my cousin, and have been back 5-6 times - each time meeting the absolute best people, having the best wine I've ever tried, and honestly just felt like I'm at a home away from home. I've came solo 5/6 of those times, and each time made new friends and had the most incredible conversations and experiences. Hannah is truly a gem, one of a kind, and the most welcoming soul I've ever met. This has been an after work solace, and a place to go and relax and let go of worries. If you come here and don't have a great experience, you simply have bad taste. I'm not sorry. I love the Apéro Club and you will too.

Love this place. They’ll let you try what’s open until you find something you like. The atmosphere is super cozy, one of the better hangouts in Santa Cruz that isn’t a dive bar.

The owner was provided with some polite nice feedback about her courtyard service while she was collaborating with a pop up restaurant but refused to have a conversation about it. We were asked to go next door for the collaboration event she is hosting (very confusing) and one hour into our lunch, her tatted husband came out of nowhere and started confronting our table accusing us of harassing women. We didn't know what he was talking about so he went back to his wife, the business owner, to ask for more details; he came back out and when I (a woman) tried to talk to him nicely, he verbally assaulted me by yelling "you shut the fuck up" and threatening physically assault with body gestures. Cops were called, this is all on record; they suggested therapy and anger management for the establishment. As a business owner myself I think this is just the most terrible experience you could possibly deliver to customers ready to support you.

The absolute most charming natural wine bar there is. The owners, Hannah and Aran, are the sweetest couple and can entertain anyone. The design of this spot is incredible and there are many corners to cozy up in. All throughout the week you can find a local food popup right outside the door and will end up hanging out for hours. On the weekends there are live djs and apero throws the best parties! Sometimes the infamous fog machine is brought out lol. Some of my most fun nights out in Santa Cruz have been here

I had one of the worst service experiences I've ever had here (side note I've been in the food service industry for over a decade and I rarely rarely feel the need to write a bad review). I came here with my family for a couple glasses of wine before dinner. When we went inside to order we looked for a menu and were informed they didn't have one. Ok, we can work with that. We asked what they had and were given an answer of "it changes every day"....okay, so we tried looking at the wine that was out just to see the labels and what our options were...again no help from the man behind the bar who was kind of just staring at us. Finally, he asked us if we wanted red or white...well to be honest sir that depends on your available selection of red and white wines, which for whatever reason you are refusing to tell me. But, we played his game and finally got our glasses of wine - two of us liked ours and two of us didn't. Honestly, the quality of the wine is besides the point - they are trying to do a curated "let us choose for you" type of model but man are they not doing it the right way. It came off as pretentious and rude, and also came with very little explanation of the wine we were drinking - needless to say, will not be going back.

Dude...... this place is a VIBE. I've been in here a few times and I always have the best experience. Hannah is one of the owners and she's so knowledgeable with wine and always super sweet, so service is great. They have mostly imported natural wines from Italy and they switch up their "menu" or selections weekly. If you're in the area and want wine, come to this place, you won't regret it. Bonus points for the cozy, thrifted decor. I love it so much.

Love this place!! Seriously delicious natty wines, amazing staff and epic vibes. Everyone was super cool. Bring a date, pop a bottle and see where the evening takes you. Good things happen here. Will definitely be back soon.

Visited this place for the first time a week or so ago. Huge shout-out to Joel! Joel hooked us up with some tastes before we felt confident purchasing an entire bottle. We were turned on to some sort of red sparkling wine and enjoyed playing some cardgames in the lounge. The atmosphere is really homey, and the other patrons were friendly and hip. Keep your eye out, sometimes they host DJs and events as well. Will definitely be back! ?

This place is incredible from the ambiance to the delicious natural wines. Hannah is an incredible wealth of knowledge and an all around awesome person. She will let you try a variety of wines to find what you like and will remember your tastes, your name, and any discussion you may have shared the next time you visit.
