The most legendary place to eat in Santa Cruz. Absolutely amazing food. I have been to Turkey multiple times and this is by far the closest thing you will get.

Please have a visit - it’s well worth it. Food is fresh, delicious and priced very fair.

Some of the best Turkish wraps I’ve ever had. Excellent balance of meat, veggies, fries, and bread. Service was fast and easy. Easily a top recommendation.

My family and I had such a great experience dining here! My cousin had her commencement at UCSC and the manager was so accommodating with the guests number. Despite how many people we had in our party, we got our food relatively quickly, the service was great, and the staff was so kind. Also, a great halal option in Santa Cruz! Can’t recommend this place enough.

I'm from out of town and me and wife decided to try something new and let me tell you from moment we walked in we were greeted with great hospitality. We ordered the combo plate it was so good it comes with rice and salad. A chicken Shewerma wrap A+ and side of the falafel 7 piece super delicious. If you ever go to Santa Cruz go check them out. Had grab a Turkish coffee for the drive home. Thank so much.

Thank you to the team of Arslans Street Food who accomodated a catering request for our big student group on last minute. The wrap bar was delicious and perfectly tailored to our Middle Schoolers - we can’t wait to return next year!

You guys the beef doner wrap is SO bomb you have to try it!!! I accidentally found this place while I was visiting Santa Cruz and parked nearby. It smelled good so I told myself I’d try it on my way out and I’m glad I did! The place was clean, staff is friendly and the flavors are so good. I’ll definitely come back!

I honestly thought my first real Turkish food experience would happen in Turkey someday… not in downtown Santa Cruz on a random Thursday night.

We were walking around after a meetup, tired, hungry, not really planning anything — and then this little spot caught our attention. Arslan’s Turkish Street Food.

The second we walked in, everything changed. Loud conversations, open kitchen, Turkish music playing somewhere in the background, steam coming off the grill, trays of baklava and Turkish delight stacked behind the glass. Didn’t even feel like California anymore for a minute.

Started simple — Turkish black tea and strawberry coconut Turkish delight. Then the guy behind the counter randomly brought us another piece for free. Small thing, but stuff like that always stays with you.

The roasted red lentil soup surprised me the most. First time in my life putting lemon into soup… and now I kinda get it. Warm, rich, slightly smoky. Perfect after walking around all day.

Then came the lamb wrap. Massive. Juicy. One of those meals where halfway through you realize you underestimated it.

And honestly, I loved how chaotic the place felt. Not quiet. Not polished. People talking over each other, kitchen moving fast, plates flying out nonstop. Felt alive.

Dinner for two was around $57, which honestly doesn’t even shock me anymore in California. And for this kind of experience? Worth it.

Easy 5 stars from me.
Definitely coming back next time I’m in Santa Cruz.

It was so yummy, I couldn’t even wait to eat, that’s why I didn’t take a picture lol. The guy named Yunus was very sweet. The food portions were huge, and everything was super tasty. Everyone must try this place! I will definitely come back again when I’m in town. Also, the prices are really cheap.
Thanks for the delicious food. ❤

Rude staff, poor service, and the food is overpriced for the quality.
