It says Cafe, but no snacks so far, just chips and $1 pool tables. Maybe they're just short staffed, idk. But you'd love their enthusiasm and competency. Although it's just a local dive bar they're definitely knowledgeable and professional...in multiple levels. Would definitely recommend for drinks, just hanging out, and/or playing pool. Especially because of their assertiveness and service. I definitely feel safe and comfortable playing pool and drinking here. Their music booth...read full review

Coolest little dive bar in santa cruz by far. We always go before shows at the catalyst which is a 5 min walk from here. Ive always gotten good service here so i dont know what people are talking about. All the bartenders ive seen are super polite and nice. A guy accidentally touched my girlfriends drink and the bartended made a fresh one for free before we even noticed. Super cool place!!!

Astis is a great place to shoot pool. They have three tables so your chances of getting to play are good. The staff was nice and so are the patrons, even though they did play some really cheesy 80s music, lol.
