Overall decent burger in Abbott Square Market. A lot of creative options, and plenty of seating. I'm not sure I'd call this the best burger I've had, or even the best in the area, but it hit the spot for what we were looking for at the time.

Pricey, but not a bad burger by any means. Overall solid!

The Seoul Surfer is the best burger I've had in this county. This place rules, check it out.

This food was so freaking good, I got the Seoul Surfer, it got mix of burger patty and pork belly on top half, beneath it is Kim chi, but Kim chi is not too spicy or does not have a lot of flavor for it to be the star of the show, that’s the patty which was amazing.

Highkey, don’t get the garlic fries, it’s ok 5/10 which was $7 ish, I much prefer the pork belly fries which is $12.50, much better.

We were going for a burger on the same street but they didn't open until 5pm. So we were also curious to try a burger here. I didn't take a picture but it looked amazing! I had the Cowboy $15
Iceburg, tomato, smoked rogue blue, bacon jam, masa onion hay, chipotle ranch. The first bite was YUM. After that I was disappointed that the flavor disappeared. It was messy in a way that I thought it would be the bomb burger. The bun fell apart and it was top heavy, so I tasted a lot of the bun and not the burger. The beef as alright. Not sure what was going on but it got dry and fell apart. I didn't eat all of it just disappointed. My husband got Seoul Surfer $15.00 Kimchi, toasted sesame, BBQ;d smoked pork belly, fried egg, gochujang mayo. He also said the same thing, the bun just didn't work well with the burger and all the stuff they pile on it. I liked the frys but my husband passed. I keep trying with Santa Cruz restaurants especially since I was born and raised here.

Found this place by chance after asking a couple of sophomores where was good to eat! Ordered a burger on its own and it was amazing! Great flavour, juicy, and just right! Great atmosphere outside in the evening with live music.

Everything about this meal was disappointing. The flavor of the burger itself was tasty, but the bun tasted stale. The garlic fries were so over the top garlicky that they were almost inedible. From a service perspective, they gave me a pager that never went off because they coded with the wrong number. So on top of everything else, the food was cold.

I was surprised since it doesn’t look like much, but I’m just going to say it: This hidden gem has the best burgers in town. Even better is the super friendly service.
