Ordered the mushroom burger and garlic fries, which was good. The toppings and sauce were good and the garlic fries were crispy. They have a decent menu with some interesting burgers. A little experience imo but worth it.Vegetarian options: Mushroom burger & fries

They make a darn good burger. I don't remember the name of the one I chose, but it was delicious. In general they have inventive burgers which is fun. And high quality meat. And it's a good size burger - hard to get in your mouth. Ha. Fries are solid. I do feel it's on the steep side price wise when it comes to a counter place, but it is high quality. I love the abbot square space - such a great environment for kids, groups, and to just feel relaxed.

Came here on a whim with the boyfriend cause we were in town for the day from Fresno. I got the Cowboy and Oh my lord. Best burger I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection, perfect balance of ingredients. I’m a sucker for anything bacon and bleu cheese and this was by far the best iteration of that I’ve ever tasted. Everything felt really fresh and hand crafted and I left full but not feeling heavy and greasy. Lost Boys fries were amazing as well. Cannot recommend this place enough.

This place is known for its burgers, ahhh it's in the name . So me being me spied their fish tacos on the menu, and decided to try that, and left the sampling of burger offerings to my compadres.I am SOoooo glad I went with the fish because the tempura batter was absolutely delicious. Crunchywith a nice sweetness to it, and the fish (cod)was very fresh. We are by the ocean so that's a plus, but not always a guarantee that the fish is fresh. The taco also had a very flavorful sauce I almost asked for more to dip the garlic fries in but they were tasty all by themselves. I only wish I had been hungrier as I would have ordered two tacos so I guess I'll have to return soon for another one.My friends reported the burgers were ample size and very flavorful so I imagine when I have a hankering for a gourmet burger then I'll be ordering one of those in the future as well. There is not a lot of signage for this establishment and Google maps is confusing as it leads you in from the other side of the building. Quite possibly 5 stars if it was just a bit easier to find. Now that I know where Belly Goat is located I recommend proceeding straight into the plaza, and keep moving forward indoors where you will find this little gem of an eatery.

Located inside Abbot square, I stopped by for a quick lunch. Ordered the deluxe burger and lost boy fries, would say it was good that I would come back. Quickly greeted and served, a tasty burger if you want something a little different.

Cute little food court with several good options. Belly Goat was a decent choice. The burger was just ok to me. The burrata burger barely had any flavor. My husband liked the Viva la Verde, and our friend enjoyed the Cowboy burger. Service was a little slow. Fries are not included with the burger, so be sure to order those separate. I had to go back up to the counter to order some, and they came out well after the burgers.

The burgers we ate were interesting. Very different but it was good. Very nice place to be at and they have like a bar next to them and another restaurant next door. Service was good .

We decided to have a family dinner outing, and the choice landed on trying out the burgers at this place. The ambiance was conducive for a family setting which was a plus. However, the main part of any dining experience, the food, didn't quite hit the mark for us. The burgers, touted to be the best in town, were quite underwhelming. They lacked the rich, robust flavors we were anticipating and came off as rather bland. Perhaps it was just not to our taste, but they didn't live up to the hype surrounding them. The overall experience was mediocre. This place didn't resonate with our taste buds as we would have hoped. Would we come back? Probably not for the burgers. It was an average experience, nothing more or less.

This spot has a delicious af burger that is huge! The burger I got was called the viva La verde which had a chayote- a type of squash, a slightly spicy slaw and Pablona pepper relish. I added grilled onion which also kicked it up a notch. The flavor was unique and the meat was juicy and cooked perfectly. Also, It was very busy on a Friday night and the staff were having to deal with some pretty awful Karen's and were handling it well. Give them a raise!

We walked into Abbott Square Market after our 1 hr hike. My bf and I wanted burgers. We saw Belly Goat Beef Burgers was first on the listing. The picture of fries looked good. We ordered two burgers. It was super good. I loved...Seoul burger and their garlic fries. The location is next to the museum which was conceniently our next stop. We were going to see the Festival of Lights Exhibit. For this place, food is delish, plenty of tables to eat at, clean bathroom, and water fountain okay.

Fun and quick food with good portions! I got the drunken onion burger, which was delicious but a tad oily. Definitely a good portion and the flavors were great. If you like onions, you'd definitely like this burger. Service was good- food came out at a reasonable pace and the employees were nice. It's in a food-court style building with tables outside, but I highly recommend going to the patio behind the building next to the museum- the ambiance is great there, with good shade and tables.Overall, a good, quick lunch!

Stopped by here for a quick lunch! It's located in Abbott Square in a food court, and I think this is the best place to go to there. The prices are pretty high for burgers IMO, but worth it for the quality! We ordered 3 Drunken Onions and 1 Viva La Verde, and it took around 15 minutes for our food to be ready (given buzzer, have to go pick up food). The buns were light and fluffy, and the meat was cooked perfectly. I loved how fresh the greens were on mine! I will say I thought the Drunken Onion had a bit too much sauce, I'll have to get light aioli next time. The Viva La Verde was oozing with sauce, so flavorful and unique.I think this is a great spot to come for burgers in the Santa Cruz area. Definitely a bit pricey, but also paying for ambience!

What an incredible dining experience! My wife and I recently visited this restaurant, and we were absolutely blown away by the delicious food and warm ambiance. We couldn't have asked for a better evening.First and foremost, let's talk about "The Forager" Portobello Burger. Wow! This burger was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. The juicy, blackened sous-vide portobello was cooked to perfection and had an incredibly rich, earthy taste. The Avo mash added a creamy, indulgent element that paired beautifully with the chimichurri marinated tomatoes, which brought a burst of freshness to every bite. The sunflower sprouts added a delightful crunch, and the sriracha-pimento olive aioli was the perfect blend of spicy and savory. It was a burger experience like no other, and I can't wait to have it again! And then there were the "Crispy Naked Fries." These fries were simply outstanding. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside. They were seasoned just right, enhancing their natural potato flavor. I couldn't stop munching on them, and neither could my wife! The service was impeccable too. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a lovely atmosphere for our dinner.Overall, our dining experience at this restaurant was a five-star delight! The Forager Portobello Burger and Crispy Naked Fries are absolute must-tries, and I can't recommend this place enough. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply looking for a unique and delicious meal, this restaurant has got you covered. We'll definitely be back for more culinary adventures. Thank you for a fantastic evening!Vegetarian options: "The Forager" Portobello Burger is a must

Very friendly service and excellent food preparation. I had the Seoul Burger which was exactly what I wanted it to be. However I was unimpressed with the Italian meatball sliders as they were dry meatballs covered in red sauce. The buns were not toasted to my recollection.
