Chocolat Reviews
The food was super good organic delicious and I will be going back for more
Get the cannoli! Cream filled with chocolate chips and candied orange rind. One end dipped in the most decadent darling chocolate I have ever tasted. The vanilla Gelato is amazing.
The pasta rosettes are beyond delicious. Lots of othe things on the menu I need to try.
My husband and I went last night for a date. I had the passion fruit margarita and it was delicious! For our appetizer we had the artichoke and cheese pot. The cheese pull was crazy! And it was so good! And when I say so good, I mean I could have ate the whole thing by myself! For my main course I had the hand rolled fettuccine. It was delicious and big enough for two people! For dessert we had the dessert orgy and it was wonderful! This place is a must try!

Based on the reviews, Chocolat is a gem in Santa Cruz located on Pacific Avenue. It is a restaurant that sits between fine dining and a bistro, with moderate portions and rich food. The menu items are made fresh with quality in mind. The restaurant is very accommodating for those with dietary restrictions. They have dairy-free and gluten-free options, and the staff is kind, knowledgeable, and not judgmental. Specific dishes mentioned include the gluten free homemade loaf, the bbq chocolate pork, house made fettuccine, the tasty Mediterranean salad, deep dish pizza, bolognese rosettes, chicken mole, and the Spicy Mo'le Poblano, which is a vegan option with unique flavor. The desserts are incredible and the best in Santa Cruz, with a vegan gluten free option available. The hot chocolate is also impressive. The service is amazing, and the atmosphere is cute, quirky, and comfortable. This restaurant is a go-to spot for both lunch and dinner, and it does not disappoint. It has great local beers and wines and a laid back Santa Cruz vibe.
