Better layout then most UCSC dining halls. Really friendly workers as well. Food is average by comparison, but they seem to have more options when it comes to bread, bagels, and pastries.

Here is just one example of the food you might be able to get at the dining hall. The food for the most part is pretty good most of the time im really satisfied with it. There is so much variety and good choices to pick from its definitely a top 3 dining hall in ucsc

I come here for breakfast and lunch and occasionally dinner. The food is always prepared properly there is almost always two different choices of food. The atmosphere is definitely top notch id say it’s the 2nd best dinning hall on campus. The staff are so cute and nice and there’s always good music playing.

Probably one of the better dining halls in UCSC but definitely not anything crazy. Its alright and usually doesnt miss too hard with their food but sometimes there are garbage menu items so check the website before coming. Bathroom is available even after you go in which is nice and napkins are there but it is popular so there may be limited selections of seating. Ice cream machine usually works and they have fruits.

As a student who has traveled multiple states and visited different dining facilities, UCSC has one of the best (look, they're not michelin-starred restaurants, but this place ranks above the rest given the competition).
The views, though, are definitely up there compared to ANY location.

Well, it's dining hall food. It will be a hit or miss with most people. The pizza there is solid, the other foods will taste like they are missing some flavor. Overall, it's a fine all you can eat buffet.
