Em... Chicken, chicken and chicken... Breakfast is good. It is standard American style with bacon, sausages, waffles, scrambled eggs, etc. Lunch and dinner is tricky. As I said, mostly chicken, chicken and chicken. If you love chicken breast, this is your place. I am not a fan, though.Note: I no longer go to dining hall to eat lunch or dinner after my first year. Menus are subjected to change. This review may be outdated.
My home dining hall. No complaints, generally good food and consistent with the quality. Great WiFi reception and availability of electrical outlets compared to other dining halls on campus. Tried the Crown/Merrill special dish once and it was not to my taste, but others enjoyed it.

Best dining hall of UCSC despite people saying that 9/10 is the best one... Here they have chocolate chips to add to morning waffles, they always have raspberry yogurt and oven roasted allergen free chicken every day. Staff is always happy and lively. Great atmosphere! Thanks Crown/Merrill staff!
