We enjoyed the dinner specials recently. Arrived here right before New Years, 12-30. I hade the daily catch and my wife had the steak pasta. Delicious. My fish was petrale sole, mixed vegetables, rice pilaf. Wife’s steak pasta was flavorful and creamy. We sat at the bar so service wasn’t the best but still attentive. Will return tomorrow. HAPPY NEW YEAR

The family and I came here at a really off time where it was completely empty. The waiter made sure we got a good seat overlooking the water and made us feel really comfortable. The waiter answered all questions and help us select some really good food. We all really enjoyed ourselves and thought the food was amazing. Highly recommended.

This is the best seafood restaurant in Santa Cruz. The service is the best within a 50-mile radius.
You are the best!
Thank you very much.
Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this spot for dinner. Their clam chowder was amazing!

This restaurant proves that the closer you get to the ocean, the more expensive seafood gets. This is somewhat tempered by the large portions and the breathtaking views of the ocean. Service was quick and professional. A window seat is a must in this establishment.

Go for the view. Food is ok. Batter on the fish is strange, like a chicken nugget, and make me believe this fish isn’t either fresh or prepared on site.

My husband and I had an absolutely delicious dinner at Firefish Grill. I had the petrale sole and he had the shrimp and scallop pesto pasta. Both entrees were on the special local menu available Monday-Friday. Our service was excellent and Gabriel did a great job! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we will definitely return!

Local oysters, abalone, fish….mixed seafood chowder blew my mom away!😍 the best was the service. They were closing the kitchen early in the rain and let us in anyway staying open for us.

We didn’t like this place. The server was rude, and the food wasn’t good. It also smells really fishy on that wharf. Get it together, Santa Cruz do better!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. My fiancé and I came here on October 18th to celebrate our ten year anniversary. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. and were greeted quickly, seated right away, and initially thought things were off to a good start.
Unfortunately, that changed fast. We waited about 15 minutes before our server even came to our table and it wasn’t busy at all. We ordered a bowl of clam chowder and the fried shrimp, but both dishes made us sick shortly after eating. We ended up having to cut our night short and couldn’t even go out dancing like we’d planned because we had to stay near a restroom.
It honestly felt like the food was old or improperly handled, which is unacceptable. It’s really disappointing to see how many restaurants in Santa Cruz seem to lack proper food safety and professionalism lately. Sadly, this was our last time dining here and as locals, that’s truly unfortunate.
