We visited last night and left with mixed feelings.
My charcoal-grilled halibut was good—fresh and flavorful, about a 7/10. The swordfish, however, was overcooked and dry, though still somewhat tasty. My wife’s fried seafood platter was served barely warm, which was disappointing. She had also ordered a side of risotto, but it was mushy, clearly held too long rather than made to order, and the flavor was off.
The biggest error: I specifically ordered a non-alcoholic Peroni, but was served the 5% alcohol version instead. Thankfully I caught it after a few sips, but this could have been dangerous due to medication interactions. They didn’t charge me for it, but frankly this should have warranted a manager’s visit to the table.
Service was friendly—our server was charming—but important details were missed: no water refills, food not returned when we mentioned it wasn’t hot, no offer of dessert, and the bill was dropped while dirty plates still sat on our table. To top it off, one of the bussers vacuumed around our area while we were eating at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Very intrusive—get a quiet sweeper instead.
Another disappointment: they add a credit card fee if you don’t pay cash, and it’s not disclosed until the check arrives. That feels deceptive.
The view is nice, but overall this place feels like it leans on its tourist crowd and doesn’t worry much about repeat business. The food was okay, but execution, service, and attention to detail left a lot to be desired.

Great dining on the wharf in Santa Cruz! I was looking for good seafood and wasn’t disappointed! I ended up with the Seafood Alfredo over Linguine; great taste, good portion size, short wait. Friendly service, great ocean view! Probably best to park on shore and take a short stroll out on the pier.

This is one of our favorite places in Santa Cruz for good food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere, and very good service. There fish dishes are very well prepared and more than adequate in size. We particularly like the Scampi, the Sand Dabs, and the Fire Fish Grill. We had cocktails, dinner, and dessert for about $60 per person which is reasonable these days.

I try to come here anytime I'm in Santa Cruz, the food is amazing, the Salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach is my favorite and actually my favorite salmon from anywhere, very nice views of the ocean with seating next to windows, the service is also very good.

After i sat down server took my order. Went to restroom 5mins I came out. some one else is setting at my table. Manager came up to me saying people order and leave all the time. I am here to have lunch Not to pay other people's mistake. Slightly Disappointed

Great food! WOW. service was on top of everything. King crab was perfect, cioppino was amazing, everything cooked perfectly. Will be coming here from now on.
Went for weekday lunch, friendly staff, good service, decent pricing, nice ocean view. Pacific snapper was great! 😛👍

Paid $40 for fish and chips — no tartar sauce provided, no ketchup or salt available. Food was served directly on a tray with no proper plating. Disappointing experience for the price.
