A delicious and somewhat tucked away spot.
I always drive by good dogs on my way to and from my job. It closes right when I get off. I had the time to go today and it was well worth the visit. The dogs are delicious the airstream trailer is adorable and he's both polite, willing to chat, and fast. If you want to stop by there is only one parking spot. I'd recommend parking by Santa Cruz tire and auto and walking over. There is some good seating. I'm definitely going back and bring my friend and coworkers along.

Tried this place for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! The owner was super nice, Mac n cheese dog was great and chili dog were great. My partner and I took his teenage brother and he gave a thumbs up.

Forget “Good Dogs”—they should be called AWESOME Dogs! I’ve been here twice now for lunch, and each time I’ve tried a different hot dog. Every one has been top-notch, made with high-quality dogs from Corralitos Market. The real game-changer? That “special sauce.” I’m not usually into olives, but whatever magic they worked in that sauce made me a believer—I couldn’t even taste them, just pure flavor. I’ll be asking for that sauce every time. While waiting for my order, I browsed the ice chest and found a bunch of nostalgic drink options. I went with a Dad’s Root Beer, and it paired perfectly with my dog. And because I couldn’t resist, I grabbed two freshly baked cookies—one for now, one for later. No regrets. If you’re on the hunt for a seriously good hot dog, Good Dogs is the spot. You’ll leave happy (and probably craving another).

I am baffled at my experience at Good Dogs- not only because I ate the best hot dog I've had in a long time, but because of Phillip's impeccable kindness and good service. It has been awhile since I've eaten somewhere that demonstrates such an emphasis on human interaction, presence, and generosity, and Phillip really nailed all of these aspects. Getting to speak with such a genuine person turned my day right-side-up and left me feeling warm. On top of all of this, Phillip makes a great effort to locally source all of his ingredients. I see your hard work and attention to detail, Phillip, and for that, you have me as a customer for life!!

This is the single best hot dog I’ve ever had because they have the total package: Dog, bun, toppings. - Toppings: the sauerkraut was local and delicious; sour but not just pure vinegar and not sloppy. - Dog was great size, quality, flavorful. - Bun: this is what blew my mind - sourdough, thick and chewy to soak up any extra topping but not break or rip, and not crispy (because who wants flakes dropping all over the place or their mouth cut up. I wish every hot dog for the rest of my life has this bun.
About the 4-star atmosphere: it is clean and they do great with what they got, but this is a food truck with a small adjacent patio area.
Staff was friendly, patient, and kind. Perfect hot dog stand!!
