This place was such a great place for some authentic japanese ramen!! I had the shio-ramen and it was just perfect! the broth was soo good, so was the noodle, back choy and pork slices that were in the ramen! everything just went well together! I would totally come back here again. my friends also had spicy miso ramen! they said it's super good but not as spicy as you think! my other friend had shoyu ramen! they said it was really good considering shoyu ramen is not that common around here! Overall a great place for ramen! the ambience was super cool and lots of people in the restaurant! Also there's a lot of options to choose from! Definitely a best place to go if you're craving some real good ramen :)

Service is really really sweet. We see the same cashier all the time so far and she is extremely caring for us when we eat. Food is yummy and we love to try different flavors and appetizers when we don't get our usual ones. Favorite ramen place in the area

Food is beyond amazing, and It’s a super fun place to go on the weekends. Love coming here with friends, and it is affordable for the size. 10/10 highly recommend.

This place is great. The vegetarian miso ramen is flavorful and delicious. Great with a side of spicy chili sauce.

Came here with very high expectation as Santa Cruz is lacking a good Ramen place and this was a good opportunity. Staff was great but unfortunately the Ramen broth itself was lacking any sense of seasoning. It basically tasted like water. Might try again in the future and adjust the rating, as for now, really disappointed on my expectations

After living in Japan for 2 years, this place does the job calming down my tonkotsu ramen cravings.

What a great addition to Santa Cruz - cheap, delicious bowl of ramen! I got a tonkatsu creamy broth but subbed meat for tofu! It was rich and creamy and filling and I was impressed with the rapid service. Ambiance is updated and new right off of Mission St., making this a perfect and centrally located dinner destination. Welcome to Santa Cruz!

Yummy! Garlic ramen was good, fried chicken even better. The squid was overcooked a bit and too sweet for me personally, I know it's hard to cook squid just right. Overall, I would go again.

Was excited to try this place out because I like ramen a lot and this space had been empty for a while but was a little disappointed. I got the veggie ramen and added an egg which had a decent broth that had some flavor but felt like it was missing something. I added a bunch of the spices available and it helped. The vegetable selection was decent but nothing that made the dish satiating. The space it self was huge with a lot of space. You order at the counter and are given a number and they bring you the food. I probably won't come back here unless more options are added to the vegetarian ramen.

Honestly, if you want Japanese food in Santa Cruz, this is the best you'll have. The ramen is better than some places in San Jose and I love the different options they have on top of ramen. I can come here more than once a week and not grow sick. I'm Japanese so I'm fairly impressed. Don't have high expectations but if you want ramen without going over the hill, this is the best option.

Service was great, staff is friendly and food comes out quick even when it's packed. I am writing this to warn anyone who gets the garlic tonkatsu that it literally just tastes like garlic water. I love garlic, but the broth was too much. Literally just globs of garlic with no other flavor. Sliced pork sitting in the broth was somehow so tough and dry i didnt even eat it. Noodles cooked perfectly, but all the soy and spicy sauce i added to it did little to spruce up the flavor. My partner was satisfied with the appetizers but overall wont be back. Sad because its down the street from my place:(
