As I sit here drinking my morning cup of Bob, I thought to myself it's time for this review! Last week I didnt have time to go over and see the wonderful guys over at Java Bobs so I was stuck drinking cups of joe.. but yesterday I was finally able to get over there and got my usual 3 lbs of Hawaiian Hazelnut.. and let me tell you.. I think I had a moment of bliss just from the aroma of Bobs.. and then as I take my first sip.. I sighed in aww of how amazing this coffee really is.. anytime I make someone coffee they always comment on how wonderful it is.. the guys that work there are always so amazing and quick too! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Still the best beans I've ever had. They should be more popular everywhere! Try the Redwood Rush, it's amazing.

Been buying Bob's java for a couple of years now, they're a hidden gem in Westside Santa Cruz. I use to drive coast side to buy their bean, ok I'd stop at Humble Sea for a beer too, both worth the drive from Morgan Hill. They aren't open on Saturday anymore, so I have it shipped. That's ok, usually comes the next day. I do miss buying a quarter pound of something new. I usually buy the decaf Peru and Sumatra, recently bought the New Guinea, they're all great. Definitely better than SB's and PT's, I prefer to make my own coffee.

Great coffee, hidden gem in Santa Cruz. Try to drop by and grab a pound or two when visiting. The Jazzland Espresso dark is a favorite, for both drip and cappuccinos. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Incredibly delicious coffee roasted by some of the coolest people in the world. Keep up the great work Java Bob’s, believe me your skills are much appreciated.

Great coffee at a great price. Here's how I like my coffee - when it grabs my attention and doesn't taste like every other coffee. Peets does that, but it's a lot more expensive and it's catching my taste buds' attention less and less. Costco coffee is cheap, but non-descript. Bob's a winner. Great service and very knowledgeable. As happy as I am with the coffee, their recommendation on a coffee stain cleaner was the best part. They have a product that they claimed was amazing and cleaned coffee stains from a cup that was hiding behind a couch for a year. They couldn't stop raving about this cleaner. So I tried some. I think amazing is one of the most over-used words today. I adamantly do not use it unless it's true. But this stuff is amazing. My husband's coffee maker has a stainless thermos container. Even scrubbing it with a pad hasn't worked. He put this cleaner in, let it soak, and I think the stainless steel is brighter than when I bought this coffee maker. So I tried some on my ember coffee cup - the one that has a battery to keep the coffee warm, but really bakes that brown stain in. Same result. It's white again without any scrubbing. I thought this had to have some nasty chemical or acid in it that would eat away my fingers if I touched it. No, sodium carbonate and "non-iconic surfactant" - it looks sudsy in the cup. Yeah, go for the coffee but definitely get some of this cleaner. It comes as a powder and is going to last me a long time.

Enjoy chocolate undertones in your coffee bean? Check out the light roast Nicaraguan or the medium roast Moka Java shown in photo here.Staff here are always attentive and helpful. Get the benefits of coffee experts who can speak to the nuances in their beans. They have a great deal of expertise above what you would probably find in a coffee place staffed by students.Oh, and Java Bob's accepts Apple Pay!Pro tips: coffee is best when ground and served between three and 10 days after resting has completed. By small quantities regularly to retain the highest amount of flavor. That's one of the secrets the coffee shops make use of.

I am drinking a very yummy espresso from their beans right now! They don't have a coffee bar but it's a great place to buy quality, locally roasted beans at a good price. Friendly, knowledgeable, no long line. I wish I'd come in here earlier!
