I don't know how this place is highly reviewed. My husband and I couldn't finish our food it tasted terrible and had no flavor and both of ours were supposed to be super with sour cream and guacamole and they didn't have them.

Seriously tasted great with a great atmosphere, but three out of six of our party threw up after eating here. Not impressed.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this was the WORST Mexican food I have ever had. Lettuce in a warm quesadilla? The meat had no seasoning and the salsa was rancid and tasted sparkling- which means is was left out. We even left a tip because I always love leaving tips but this was at the register before tasting the food. I hope they are able to improve.

We were staying across the street at the Courtyard. We were looking for something close by that was open on Thanksgiving for a quick bite. We noticed it was open and decided to give it a try. The breakfast burrito was delish, filling and huge. Excellent refried beans. The chimichanga is a do not miss! We also had the pazole and the huevos rancheros. Everything was so good and all homemade. An unexpected gem just off the Boardwalk. Will come here again for sure! Great service and nice employees.

Pleasant place downtown Santa Cruz with full menu up for your selection.Although the place may need some minor upgrade – food quality and hospitality were at the level to get the stars. Super burrito was feeling and well done to satisfy the hunger. Top it off with Street tacos and you are good to go for the day. Small and pleasant soft drinks and beer selection with down to earth prices makes this place competitive on the current market. Chips and salsa bar is calling for selection upgrade; bathroom does needs a light to be repaired.Overall good vibe and promising place calling back to try more delicious Mexican dishes.

This place is a tourist trap! Garbage. Gross food tasted rancid. Came here to avoid the fried boardwalk food and left feeling sick and robbed. We had a party of 10 only 2 of us could eat our food everyone else couldn't even swallow the bites and left the whole plate. Tortillas looked and tasted microwaved. Asada had no color looked grey. Drinks were flat soda cans and Jarritos. We told the owner the food was gross and he asked why? My husband returns 2 burritos said the food tasted rancid. He cuts one of the burritos in half and proceeds to eat it. He said it was good. So nasty! Don't waste your time or money. We should have known from all the red flags we were getting. Learn from my mistake and don't eat here!!

We went here in 2021 we don’t know if it’s changed but we went to Santa Cruz from Sacramento and we were going to the boardwalk we had saw this restraint and decided to try it it was not as we expected no bathrooms stale chips we asked for more chips and they said they don’t have any. So then we got the burrito it was pretty good but the meat was dry and the rice was wet. We were the only people in there. If I ever come back I will see the progress.

Do NOT eat here. This is the worst Mexican food we have ever had. The menus are lies. Their burritos are 90% rice. My kids are greatly disappointed. The nachos are a mushy mess and the carne asada is cut up smaller than Taco Bell's. Everything is really bland. It's really unfortunate.

It was good and close to our hotel. We had burritos and tacos. Reasonable prices. Good salsa, beans and rice.

The best shrimp tacos I've ever had in Santa Cruz. The price is reasonable. Good place to have lunch and dinner. The location is also near the Beach.

So authentic, tasty, fresh and clean. A diner on our walk back to our hotel, ticked all of our boxes and more. Would go out of my way for another visit. Thanks Montaña

Good fresh hot food with lots of flavor. Unfortunately the waitress over ordered for us and our friends that we were with and we ended up paying more than we should have but otherwise no complaints.

WOW this place Amazon! One of the best super burritos with Al pastor I've ever had! Tempted to come here every time I'm in Santa Cruz!

No public restroom. Food is mid. The Super Taco is one taco that is topped with lots of lettuce and cheese and a little bit of meat. It was $5.25 so I guess it wasn't overpriced, but still. Service is great though, the workers were quite nice. Burritos not that appetizing either.
