I ordered salmon which was totally overcooked like the middle was raw. I was not sure if it is grilled salmon or sushi!!! The service was very slow

Beautiful view, sat outside on the patio. Has a bit of shade so you're not in the sun if you don't want to be. Friendly staff, very accommodating, will visit again. Has space for groups

Beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food at the on site restaurant The View. Great room, a calming environment, exercise facility, spa, pool, hot tub, walking trails, Pickle ball and bocce ball courts, a lovely view of the city of Santa Cruz below. It was very enjoyable and only a 2 hour drive from the Bay Area. They also allow pets on the property so you can bring your furry family members if you like.

We had a terrible experience today at the view. We waited for 45 minutes after being seated without being helped and deciding to leave. Waiters walked by us without paying attention. I walked up twice (first to a waiter and then the host) to ask for someone to please take our order. No one came. As we were walking out the manager said they had been a miscommunication and offered to help (how can miscommunication result in waiters ignoring us for 45 minutes and no one coming after we asked twice?). Sorry, too late. It is a shame as the location is great but the service ruined it for us

Given the rates charged, I anticipated a higher standard of cleanliness in my room. The significant amount of dust triggered my allergies, which rarely affect me to this extent outdoors. The high price did not correlate with the quality of cleaning. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met.

The view was pretty service was not great waited 20 minutes for our ticket. Macaroni was very bland ordered grilled cheese which was dry toasted panini bread and my fries were cold. It was so so and we were going to order room service for breakfast but now we wont.

Stayed a night here to unwind. Beautiful surroundings. Wonderful service at The View for dinner. Had the crab cakes, truffle fries, and beet salad. All delicious and service was wonderful. Had two house margaritas, too. Highly recommend. They had live music in the bar, and the view can't be beat. The hotel check-in was simple. Stayed in a king resort view room. Everything was clean, and the room had everything you needed. Grounds are beautiful for walking at dusk. Highly recommend from a local. This is the best place to visit and unwind.
