We ordered a caramel quad latte and hazelnut oat latte as well as a jalapeño cheddar bagel. It was great! They are very generous with the cream cheese fyi

The Vegan Burrito is awesome. Made with soy chorizo, potatoes, spinach, avocado & green onion...just added cheddar and it was over the top awesome!! Ordered online and walked right in past the line out the door to my waiting order. So good!

These guys are smashing the bagel game here in S.C.. A lot closer to a NY bagel than others in town. When they first got going with it here it was good, but now? Great

Let's just say, I no longer go to the Bagelry in Santa Cruz anymore. Firefly bagels are a work of art and they're consistently good. They are generous with their toppings and cream cheese which I appreciate. Their London Fog (earl grey tea) is for some unknown reason, to me, the best. I'm impressed with how much they can do with so few staff working. Tip them! I promise I'm not affiliated with them in any shape or form... just becoming a big fan. Feeling satiated and ready go!

Bagels were excellent. However I didn't appreciate being treated like an afterthought. This location appears to be a take out only spot. I'd avoid it and go to their other location in town.

I was such a huge fan of this place when I discovered it about a year ago. Now I'm just annoyed after every experience. Stop offering double toasting if you're not going to do it, I'm so sick of making this request and it not being done. Double toasting completely changes the flavor of the sandwich in a good way. Also, what's up with the cream cheese? My tango and cash barely had any on it and it was overloaded with egg. If you're going to continue to charge this much for a bagel sandwich plus extra for the egg ad-on make sure your staff is consistently trained and stop hiring young people that are tired or sad behind the counter. I get that you don't want to work on a Saturday but don't sour the customer experience because you can't be professional. Firefly is smoke and mirrors and a roll of the dice. Oh and the lattes barely have any flavor plus you get charged extra for the cup. Good luck on your next visit and if ownership cares to read this please take it to heart because when the bagel and service is done right, it really is a great spot. Or lower your pieces and we will accept the lackluster service and product.

We stopped in on a rainy day. We got lattes and breakfast burritos to go. We ate them in the car over looking the ocean. The burritos were good, but next time I'll definitely order their homemade bagel sandwiches

I like Firefly a lot. Especially for the food. I've criticized other coffee shops in the past for having pricey food for small portions but there's no risk of that here. You get a good portion for your money which is very important, especially these days. The most expensive thing they offer is about 15 bucks and it's well worth it. It's a burrito that you could use as a weapon if you needed to. It's also delicious. The staff has always been super kind. I even walked in in the middle of them remodeling because I wasn't paying attention and they apologized to me even though you could clearly see it was being worked on. My only gripe is a small one. They still do a small upcharge for milk substitutes. It's not a huge charge so I pay it, but milk alternatives are so common these days that it feels like a relic of an older time. They have a cute patio to eat at but I'd always rather take mine to go and eat in the car. As long as you're not going far, it travels pretty well.

Coffee was average and they got my wifes order wrong. Did not even have bagels, guess they were waiting for delivery.

I have only had the pleasure of DoorDashing FireFly. AND it was fantastic! So I can only imagine how much better it is in person. I was craving a jalapeño and cheese bagel when I initially found FCH. It sounds so simple. However, it was made perfectly. The bagel sandwiches are pricey. But, delicious and well worth it!

Great place with good food and coffee BUT, The last 3 times I've been there the line was out the door with so many food orders lined up. I've waited before and it's min 20-30 mins. They have become too busy for themselves and don't invest in more employees. Too bad, I've been enjoying this pace for a while now. I was just there this morning and walked out due to only 2 employees and at least 10 food orders in queue and a line to wait.

Cute place for brunch. A little pricey. There was a line out the door-- always a good sign. We got in line around 10:45am on a Saturday and got our food around 11:30. Don't recommend if you're in a rush. Cashier was super nice. Only 1 person in the kitchen and 1 working the bar which explained the wait. The hazelnut latte I ordered was great. Was nickel and dimed for whipped cream and the cup which was kinda annoying. Not from the area, so not sure this is customary. We both ordered "the works" breakfast burrito. It was tasty but very heavy. Don't think I'd order it again.

Stop by this cafe for brunch on the way to Santa Cruz beach. It's very small with some out door seating (which was perfect because we had our pup with us) and limited number of parking spots. They sell coffee, teas, bagel sandwiches, and breakfast burritos. My husband got the kitchen sink sandwich with onion cheddar bagel and I got the vegan bagel with avocado (they ran out of vegan cream cheese). The bagels are house made and are the best thing ever! Crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. I also go a chai latte which was one of the best I've had! Definitely check this place out if you are in the area!
