The lasagna was really gross and I hardly ate it because it was so bad. It is the worst I have ever had in any country (I am from Europe). The cheese tasted like vomit, and a lot of the layers just didn’t have anything inside.

I don’t know if it’s that they don’t speak English or they just don’t care about their job but I’ve been there 2 times and both times I’ve had bad customer service first time I asked for 2 slices of cheese and olives both in English and Spanish they gave me 2 cheese slices drenched in olive oil no olives when I went back to tell them about it they acted like they didn’t understand second time I ordered 2 cheese slices and it came out to almost $17 so I asked how much a 12inch cheese would come out to the cashier pointed at the menu when I didn’t see any just cheese I asked again to which he replied do u want the slices or not .. never coming here again rude!

Wife is GF, i can eat wheat, both vegetarian. Got the familiar uh-oh feeling shortly after sharing a GF Margherita pizza. I suspect cheap, oily cheese and poor quality. Would not recommend.

Great food spot in the market! We even made a stop on our way back through town. It was so good.

It's just good pizza. It's not perfect but any complaints I have are hardly worth mentioning, except maybe the cheese being a bit too oily. The dough in particular is perfectly stretchy and has that solid, earthy charred gluten flavor. The whole Abbot Square food court is a wonderful place to hang out, and most of the places there are highly recommended.

I went bc a yelp review said they had GF slices. That must have been in the past. They do offer it in the 12” which is better than most that only offer it in a large. Pizza is ok. I have had better and better GF crust. The topping slide right off the pizza which was less than ideal. Overall meh 🫤

Sadly disappointed in this pizza. Undercooked, raw and inedible. Had to throw the whole thing away. Paid $27 for a pizza and a bottle of water. Not worth it.

There are a ton of pizza options within Santa Cruz, but this is the best option for wood-fired pizza.

I have been to this location a few times, got several types of pizzas, and always enjoyed every slice I got. The dough is perfectly cooked, the sauce is amazing, and their toppings always have great flavor.

You can grab a pizza here and sit indoors or outdoors while you enjoy your meal. Some nights there are bands playing at Abbott Square, which is fun for friends and family, and there are outdoor heaters for when the coastal breeze kicks in during the summer or to keep you toasty during the winter!

This italian pizzeria is located in downtown Santa Cruz food court amongst many others. What stood out is the wafer light crust. It’s probably the lightest pizza crust I have ever tasted! Tried vegetarian pie. Taste of the pizza is pretty okay. Would love to try their eggplant parmigiana next time.

It's reasonably authentic neopolitan pizza, which is my favorite kind, but it's on the bottom tier for me for this type of pizza. Mentone and Bantham are significantly better in my opinion. They have better crust texture, better sauce, better crust flavor, better ingredient combinations, ingredient quality, etc. Still, worth a visit at least once to see for yourself.

They're pretty good, their salads have A LOT of Olive Oil if you get that as dressing, so just be aware of that.

I ordered the Prosciutto and mushroom pizza and was given a pizza with lunch meat style ham on it. Absolutely not worth the money and very disappointing.
