I had the Pesto Gnocchi. Now I know why people like gnocchi. Amazing! They were so light, little clouds of potato and ricotta in a cream sauce. The sauce was delicious and not too heavy. I also got their simple green salad. It was very simple but the olive oil in the dressing was very nice. Whenever I eat something rich I like the freshness of something green and this worked perfectly! I will be back!

Their pizza is lights out! Wood fired is the best and their pizzas are great. Friendly service too.

Overpriced, tasteless, and limp. Ordered the daily special sausage, spinach, and brocollini pizza. Sauce was undersalted and lacking any flavor and didn't even make up for it in the miniscule amount of cheese used. Center was soggy and mush. Spinach was just tossed on top uncooked afterward. Sausage was cheap cut-up minerature links that had no resemblance of Italian seasoning. Go here only if you have no respect for what pizza is supposed to be.

The pizza was...okay. It was fine. At 6:50 a slice I expect it to be better than (cheaper) Pizza My Heart, which it wasn't. The tiramisu however was offensively expensive for the portion size and not even a good recipe (7.50, see pic). Even the server gave a sheepish look like he knew I was being scammed. Never again.

Fantastic pizza! Some of the best Neapolitan pizza I've had. Superior crust. Excellent topping combinations. They appear to have an authentic Naples pizza oven. Surprising that it is a food stall in Abbott square market and not free standing.

With Italian food being my favorite type of food, I was very excited to try this place. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. I ordered the Rigatoni Al forno and the Diavola pizza, which came out to $43, which is pretty pricey considering that this is not a sit down restaurant (they have buzzers and self seating). It is also insanely hard to find seating inside abbot square market. We couldn't find a table and ended up having to sit on a bench to eat. The food took a long time to come out and it wasn't the best. The pizza was undercooked in some spots and overcooked in others. The cheese on it was stringy (not in a good way) and the flavor was lacking. The rigatoni had good flavor from the sauce but the meatballs tasted like they were frozen. Overall, it was a pretty underwhelming experience for the price we paid for the food. However, the service was friendly and they could have just been having an off night food wise as it was very busy.

Good pizzas and ready when I arrived. The crust was just right and size was perfect. If you're not familiar with the area, finding it is not that easy. It inside a little food court.

We shared a Capricciosa pizza here yesterday and the pie crust was delicate and crispy. The texture of the combination is also well orchestrated except that ours was missing the Tomatoes !!Will be back to try the Margarita for sure. The area is neat w plenty of outdoor seating w shade. Free wifi would also make it possible to get some work done.

Don't be fooled by the fancy dish names. My "PROSCIUTO & FUNGHI" slice came out with cheap tasting tomato sauce, and DICED UP HAM BITS aka, LUNCH MEAT. The flavorless slice was a rectangle with bulky crust on both short ends. Disappointing!

Wow! Best cooked pizza I've ever had so far in Santa Cruz! However their toppings couldn't be any worse! It's an insult using such disgusting cheap pizza toppings on that beautifully cooked pizza crust. Improve where you buy your ingredients. Doing something right while doing something wrong... A nice compromise I guess...

Crust is good, hand tossed. But the ingredients unfortunately lacked major flavor. Tried the Margherita pizza. The Meatballs on the other hand were excellent ?
