We stopped in here for the 1st time last week and had a wonderful experience. It is super nice to sit outside and sip these very nice high ABV beers. They are aged in barrels and are truely, deeply flavorful. Great new spot in Santa Cruz!!

This is a tasting room, featuring very high ABV 3 or 6oz pours. All barrel batch stouts. We had the Dbl Brl 10K. As a typical IPA drinker, I enjoy a certain atmosphere and this place offers a real good vibe with vinyl records playing on the old school sound system. Highly recommend. Very friendly service.

Killer spot if you’re into rich, dark, and strong stouts. Cool records spinning in the background and a super chill and comfy vibe. Easy place to lose a few hours and a MUST if you are going through Santa Cruz.

Remarkable. Singular. Ridiculously yummy. Delicious vibe, killer location, spectacular ales. That’s a lot of adjectives, but they all apply.

Came here on a Sunday and had one of the best BA stouts ever. Two sizes of pours and also has bottles for sale. Would highly recommend if you enjoy stouts.

I have visited breweries all across the world, and this is one of the most interesting projects I've ever come across. Brad is an insanely knowledgeable brewer, with a phenomenal vision.I wish i could get a membership but alas there is only a wait-list available as of writing. If you get the chance, get your hands on his beer. Exquisite stuff.Brad, thank you for your dedication to the craft, and your pursuit of excellence: you've achieved something truly great with Private Press.

The owner will send you emails and shame you for not spending enough money over the year. He charges for membership but treats you horribly if you aren't able to buy anything after you pay for the membership. It's horrible that a business owner would try to shame a customer for not spending enough money. He never bothered to ask about my circumstances and why I didn't spend more. I paid for the membership so I don't appreciate his effort to shame me.

One of the most amazing and innovative breweries in the world.
