I live around the corner from Garden Deli, where Reuben's Taco Truck is located {except when he has a catering an event}. I ignored it for a couple months, thinking the food would be marginal at best. Then I was feeling lazy, so walked over and got dinner, expecting to be underwhelmed.
OMG!! I was so effing wrong. Their food is So Fricking Good that I've gotten dinner there almost once a week ever since!!

This place has been right near my house for ages but I've never gone.It's much better than the nearest Mexican restaurant (el chino).They don't have a good website so check out their IG or FB.They don't have contactless payment but can take Venmo.I'll be back!

We picked up burritos for a quick Taco Tuesday dinner. My vegetarian burrito was one of the best I've ever had! Super flavorful with very fresh tasting ingredients. My hubby said his chicken burrito was excellent as well.Sooo good! We'll definitely be back!

Started off great over a month ago. I even asked specifically, please don’t put the onions and cilantro all at one end of the burrito. It happened anyway and the meat was chewy. (Thanks for your feedback, was all they had to say)My kingdom for one authentic Mexican food joint in Santa Cruz. SMH
