Great brews. Their sours are on point and delicious. The IPA selection is also wonderful.

Number of interesting beers on tap. Nice outdoor beer garden with a food truck and corn hole. Some indoor seating.

There was a sign at the door saying it was closed for renovation but didn't update their Google Maps hours. We drove a hundred miles to check out this brewery and failed to update their Google Maps hours to inform this.

Swell place, only been once, coming back for sure! Tried the light lager they had on tap - decent - and had a sip of some berry brew -not my preference, but it was a good brew. Looks funky with their beer barrels in the back and a humongous heated patio.

Wow the beer selection is fantastic- the service is even better. I love how they have live music. Definitely gonna be my go to spot in Santa Cruz!

Great local brewery, always has great bands and the art is amazing. Awesome chill spot tucked away near Costco . Beer is on point with great rotation for the season. Indoor seating but outdoor seating usually gets you a great view of the stage . Legit food/snack menu.

Good beer makes it the best place to kill time while waiting for your tires to be replaced at Costco down the street.I sat inside the day I was there to avoid the loud music and fashion show going on outside on the patio. There was a food truck available but I didn't try it as it was mid-afternoon.Beer pictured is Seeing Stars oatmeal stout. 7% abv. $8 for a pint.

I'd been wanting to come to Shanty Shack for a couple years now and am happy to say it lived up to the expectations! I came for a quick beer on a weekday afternoon and sat outside on the shaded patio. With such a wide variety of beer options I couldn't pick just one and went with a taster of two. Had I had more time I would've loved to stick around and build a larger flight - but now I have a reason to go back! BYO flight tasters are available for $5 a piece and were a pretty good size. I went with the Razzmanian devil & rainbow sherbet sours, enjoyed both but the rainbow sherbet was my favorite of the two. Excited to try their hazy and porter next time. Free wifi and plenty of outdoor picnic table seating was available as well as some indoor seating at high tops. Parking seems limited and you do have to get a parking permit if you're parked on the opposite side of the street of the building, but they have them right there at the bar!

Great location, get a parking permit when you visit and park on the street. It's super cute on the inside, they have a great patio with fruit trees and lots of shady umbrellas. I had a cider, which was delicious. The service was super easy and nice and they had great recommendations! Will go back for sure.
