What a delightful surprise we stumbled on when we went to go use the bathrooms. On the other side of the bathrooms is this wonderful Cafe. I checked the reviews and they were high so we decided to give it a try. We enjoyed the Cod Sandwich, one of the bowls, a burrito and one of the dilla's. All the food was delicious and fresh and homemade. There's no dining inside. They have several picnic tables sitting outside the restaurant with a fantastic view of the ocean. They are very dog friendly. There is gluten free and vegan options. Wheelchair accessible as well.

I come here 3-4 times a month. And I have for the past 2 years or so.
However, the young girls running the front end seem to need an attitude check. A few weeks ago, two of them were standing by the drink fridge audibly talking horribly about the gal running the register. In the past, the skinny tan gal with long, dark wavy hair has also copped a serious attitude with me as well as other patrons.
I always add cheese when I order the turkey Sandwhich. But this time, the gal running the register told me there’s no cheese and that it’s on the truck (?) the truck right next to the cafe? I asked about the cheddar cheese that comes on the breakfast sandwich or the quesadillas. She said “it’s shredded cheese we can’t put it on a sandwich” and that “cheese is for a special item they used to have”….HALF THE ITEMS THEY MAKE HAVE CHEESE (burgers, breakfast sandwiches, quesadillas). In over a year, it’s the first time anyone said they can’t put cheese on the turkey Sandwhich. So confused.

Got the spicy pork sandwich, smash burg, and fish taco. All the food seems really fresh and it was tasty. Spot was jumping with people. Outside dining only. Right across from the beach. Surfers walking up from their session at steamer lane. Cool spot!

This is a very nice food stand! Very convenient spot to go to for people who are hungry and thirsty after a long stay in the state beach. They also have an outdoor area where people can dine.
This place has all sorts of foods. They have these things calls Dillas, which is like smashed burrito or a quesadilla and burrito mash-up. So I decided to try one of them and have to say…it’s very good! Kinda hoping that they will slice mines into pieces haha. But it’s a burrito at the same. So it wouldn’t really make sense if they do lol
I also like how the staff is only letting certain people come in to order depending on the party size. It could be because it’s very small inside and things can be crowded if people try to come in and especially come out.
Again, very good spot if people want a craving after a long stay here!
