Food was overpriced and bad quality with very small portions. Ambience was terrible, very bright and loud with lots of screaming children. Live music was loud and not the vibe for Valentine's Day. $17 specialty cocktails were disgusting and cheap. Would not recommend to friends and will not be coming back.

We had such a great experience thanks to our server! They were incredibly attentive to me, my girlfriend, and even our dog, which really made us feel welcome. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. From start to finish, they checked in at all the right moments and made sure we had everything we needed. It's rare to find service that's both professional and genuinely kind. We'll definitely be back!

Dined here for dinner on Valentine's Day. Had the opportunity to enjoy the Happy Hour options and prices. Got full for dinner menu options but had room for dessert. Bri provided excellent service. We sat indoors due to cloudy cold weather but will definitely be back in the spring or summer to enjoy the outside dining with a view.

We had an outdoor experience (breakfast-enjoyed the steak and eggs and hamburger with truffle fries). The sun is out the day enjoyed a couple of drinks. The service was nice, but there were a couple misses such as drinks not being delivered or not being refilled. We were able to stay until the mid afternoon and enjoy a wonderful view.

Unfortunately the service was extremely bad. Being ignored for about 20 mins after being seated was not a great way to start. The food arrived and everything was cold, seems it was ignored at the kitchen by the waiter. Refills were non existent for the water or the soda. I would skip this place next time.

We went for lunch. The location is beautiful. Not too far up the mountain as I initially thought. The food was good. We had the tempura green beans, truffle fries, burgers. It was a sunny day so we sat outside.

I had the pleasure of dining at The View Restaurant at Chaminade Resort last week and I can't speak highly enough about my experience there. Both the food and cocktails were exceptional—thoughtfully created, beautifully presented, and full of fresh, vibrant flavors that showcase both creativity and quality. They offer a wide array of dishes that I found to be both intentional and expertly prepared. I highly recommend the double cut pork chop, braised beef short rib and you must, must, must save room for the sticky toffee cake for dessert! A top 5 dessert in my many travels. If the food wasn't enough, the atmosphere was just as impressive. Offering beautiful views and a relaxed yet refined setting that makes it perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out. What really ties it all together is the service. I found the hosts, waitstaff and bartenders to be attentive, warm and professional without ever feeling rushed or overbearing. The View delivers on all fronts—food, ambiance, and hospitality—making it a must-visit if you're ever in the Santa Cruz area.

We arrived with high expectations because the place itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the customer service was incredibly disappointing and, at moments, humiliating. We were treated differently and made to feel unwelcome simply for being Latino. Because of this, we decided to leave. It's unfortunate and unacceptable that experiences like this still happen

The meal was delicious and served warm. Short ribs and salmon always sound safe but these were actually excellent . We sat on the patio under the geathers. Server was kind and tried. Manager not around when we asked for one. Oscar was delightful.

Breakfast with Santa was absolutely wonderful. We had a large group of 26, and Manager Abram who also happens to be the chef took exceptional care of us. His presence was felt everywhere: seating guests, bussing tables, replenishing the buffet, and warmly engaging with all the children. Did not seem to miss anyone throughout the event, astounding. As a former hotel operator, I was truly inspired. Genuine hospitality like this is rare to come by these days. Despite how busy it was, the entire staff remained friendly, attentive, and gracious. We even stayed after the event ended just to personally thank Abram for his incredible effort. It's our sincere hope that this message reaches the right people so he receives the recognition he absolutely deserves.

Phenomenal food and drink. Oscar and Kevin at the Bar were great. Had some wine, drinks and tried the steak as well as short rib. Ordered a couple apps. Full stop delicious. Looking forward to the next time already! Will be back for breakfast too.

Had Braised Short Rib and Calamary. Best in the state. We travel for work and pleasure. Might be could be best we've ever had. Chilly night but heaters on and lovely all around.
