Visiting from out of town and my husband picked this place. As a studio Ghibli fan I loved the art on the walls. It was very creative and welcoming. We ordered rolls that were super good. The prices vary but I felt like they were affordable for a nice night out.
This place is an absolute gem of Santa Cruz. I've been coming to Santa Cruz for over 20 years and my hubby lived in that area for a few years. Everytime we go we end up in the typical tourist spots like the pier despite wanting to try something new. We randomly saw this place and pulled into the parking lot just before passing it. The staff were friendly and especially helpful and considerate of our 1 year old son. The food was all SO DELICIOUS. It came out in a timely manner...
Super cute & fairly priced Japanese restaurant in Santa Cruz! Their interior is covered in incredible Ghibli-themed black board drawings. Their agedashi tofu, miso soup, and dragon roll are absolutely delicious! Their lunch deals are also very worth it. Definitely recommend!
