Taqueria Agave - Santa Cruz

Great food & salsa bar. I live in Santa Cruz and this place has the best tasting Mexican food. Many Hispanic families eat there and they can't be wrong. Plenty of gringos too. I just hope this review doesn't make it get too crowded.

I ordered the caldo de res and it had one sad little piece of beef. Very disappointing since I was really craving a good cosido. Do not order it here.

An overlooked gem here in Santa Cruz. Their sign is faded but has no effect on how hood their food is!
Authentic Mexican with many traditional dishes. Their shrimp dishes are really good and fresh. The picture here is fajitas. Prices are very reasonable in this time of 'high prices and less for your money'. They offer generous portions, large burritos, and excellent food. Highly recommend this place to visitors and residents. Enjoy ?

Love the good prices, good food great service.

Quick, reasonably priced and tasty. They kept the old Fosters Freeze tables and booths, so it is comfortable. Quiet and calm inside, which is different and wonderful for me.

Parking: Plenty of free off street parking.
