Came on a whim, the best decision ever. The rice was a bit underdone but was flavorful nonetheless. Papusas were great and also the taco plate!! Very inexpensive, prompt service, and an extremely well run establishment. I will be back.

excellent service. excellent food. Must try the whole fried fish. The sopita de res was yummy , I just missed the cabbage. Y'all Californians love y'alls ceviche all chopped up to tiny pieces and I for one do not, BUT it was still good and I ate it. We didn't try the pupusas as it was our first time here but so help me god it wont be my last. Ill stop on my way out of Santa Cruz.

The very bad pupusas hurt me and I was sick to my stomach for 2 days.
A true hidden gem! We came during the lunch hour and this place was packed! Service however was quick and absolutely wonderful! They were so kind and quick.We ordered of variety of 9 pupusas and they came out pipping hot! Cheese was bubbling on the plate.The green tomatillo salsa from the salsa bar was my 9yr old’s favorite! He slathered it on every pupusa and devoured it all! Can’t wait to come back!

So so good. The Salvadorian part of the menu might be small but it is mighty. Only part I came here for.....and keep coming back. Pupusas are divine. The fried plantanes are on point. The people who work there are friendly and kind and it's clean. Do yourself a favor and go.

I came with my family, to have a dinner we had bad service, rude people I ordered yuca con chicharrón and it was the worst plate I ever see in my life 0% recommended, never that was going to be this bad.

They had mixed up someone's order while I waited for mine and forgotten an item in someone else's. That should have been a red flag but I thought "surely they won't mess up anymore orders after that debacle" WRONG. They forgot an entire entree for my order.As for the food. The cheese was cold and hard. How is that possible?!
