The tin foil that my burrito was wrapped in truly exceeded expectations. Many establishments provide sub-par tin foil which leads to my burrito leaking out of its enclosure when I want to save it for later. Kudos to the chef for attending to excellence!

I dinged it on atmosphere because they should do something about their restroom situation. Two baths, Men's and Women's. Both require a separate combination to open the door. Almost every time I have been there there's someone in the Men's room for a looonnnggg time! Not sure why it's been that way...perhaps I have just been lucky the three times I have been there.

Been to many restaurants and Taqueria Santa Cruz is my absolute favorite. The professionalism within all the staff regarding customers needs alone makes me feel so welcomed. And the food is absolutely amazing. Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner they go above and beyond yo satisfy customer needs. I would highly recommend this small business to anyone coming in town or locals in the area. I flew from the Chicago area just to have some amazing authentic food. You are NOT going to be disappointed!

All the food is delicious but you may not know they have the BEST shrimp cocktail I've ever eaten - tons of jumbo shrimp served in a huge goblet with fresh avocado, onion, tomato, peppers and a delicious perfect broth. Be sure and try the flan too, perfect texture and burnt sugar topping. Best food in town and inexpensive to boot!

The past few times I've gone here, they didn't give me chips with my order. Is this a new rule or something? I ordered 2 tacos and the girl at the front said you don't get chips with only 2 tacos..their tacos are 4.50 and it comes to over $10 with tax. Terribly stingy place
