The Oasis Distillery & Pizzeria

I LOVED this place before they closed a few years ago, and was happy to try it out since finding that they recently reopened. We stopped by tonight, to which the employee who greeted me at the door grabbed me some slices. My spouse was happy to hear that it happened to be Sicilian Saturday. I'm from New Jersey. The state with the BEST pizza. This was really comparable. I had the classic. Ordered it on line and prayed it was going to be good. I have never in my life paid $42 for a large pizza. It was really good. Sourdough crust was pretty soggy in the middle but really good texture at the end of the crust. It was saucy and not super cheesy but perfect amount. The only reason o gave it 4 stars is the price. Kinda outrageous.

REJOICE! The taproom is finally open! (Well sort of...boo covid). I moved to the Santa Cruz area and *thankfully* quickly discovered uncommon brewers. If you open my fridge on any given day, you can bet there's a can of long form tripple in there. Seriously, it's amazing and dang does it pack a punch.
