I have been a supporter of this establishment for years!!! HOWEVER, Extremely disappointed by the BLATANT disrespect and dishonesty to me and my colleagues by the “chef” Jorge. He was rude, snappy and quite frankly, I felt attacked. When I inquired about the rules of the special “bottomless mimosas” he backtracked on what was initially promised at the time it ended. Such amazing service!!. Maddy was our host and she did everything possible to make us feel at home. Haven't experienced customer service like this in a long time. Not to mention the pizza we ordered was fantastic. Everything was so good, we had to come back a 2nd day in a row. Upper Crust is lucky to have someone on their staff like Maddy!! The next time we visit Santa Cruz, we known where we'll be going.
I love family owned businesses and I love Italian food. This place has both!! I tried the ranch bbq chicken and Sicily’s mt etna pizzas and cannolis (big appetite haha). Everything was absolutely fantastic. Their house made ranch is to die for. I can’t wait to come back and try their pasta and fries!! Nick, the owner, is also super kind and friendly!!!
