First time in MY LIFE I have walked into ANY venue and in under 10 minutes, with coat and scarf still on been told, curtly, YOU MUST BUY a drink to stay! Was this woman in floral dress the manager? I had never been there before, was excited to see my friend debut there as the lead singer and my night was spoiled by this incredible rudeness. I left and likely will never go back - and I live in Santa Cruz! I hope the owner sees this to giver her some basic public relations training. For instance, saying, "Welcome."

We recently hosted a private event at Vino by the Sea, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The venue itself offers stunning views and a warm, intimate atmosphere, perfect for any occasion. What made it truly exceptional was working with the owner, Ana. From start to finish, Ana made everything so easy! She is incredibly communicative, always quick to respond to any questions, and offered helpful suggestions along the way. Her friendly and welcoming personality made the entire planning process stress-free. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with top-notch service, we highly recommend Vino by the Sea and Ana. She made our event unforgettable!

Had a wonderful impromptu evening here. A lone female traveller popping in for a glass of wine… stayed for the evening and had a fabulous time with the team and customers alike. Great wine and great bar food, made to feel extremely welcome. Would highly recommend!

Vino by the sea hosted my rehearsal dinner for 45 people and it was AWESOME!! They are so nice and flexible and even helped with decor, adding food to our catering last minute to ensure we had enough, etc. it’s a beautiful location too and the rental price was great. so glad we discovered this place for our rehearsal dinner!

What more can a person ask for when drinking wine?! At the end of the wharf with an incredible view!? They've got it. And the The food is amazing! Great staff! Ron and Anna are cool people. Definitely worth checking out.

Visited for a gig, blue Ocean Rockers. Wine was great, paninis were hot and tasty, chocolate platter was delicious, all in all a fantastic evening

Had to give a star for this review to be accepted but didn’t want to leave any stars. Band too loud and practicing before performance time, very rude owner Anna, over charged us, smelled old and musty. Will never go back.
