Food was ok, too much use of spicy mayo across a lot of their dishes. Multiple drinks and food items were forgotten and had to be re ordered despite not being that busy. And only way to pay with card was to swipe it so if you have Apple Pay be prepared to wash some dishes to settle up.
We had an enjoyable time here at Izakaya West End. The hosts, servers , bussers, and bar staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Not much seems to have changed with the look and feel of the restaurant since it was West End Tap. The food is where I felt let down. The food was more a fusion from many countries than I had expected from a place named Izakaya. So we found out that this place changed menus about 3 months ago and decided to come check out their happy hour. And this place is amazing with really good food and super good service and the person that runs the bar Lindsay made a fantastic Maitai for me. They have an extensive menu and a really good selection of sake, wine and spirits. The fries are out of this world. The portions are decent and the food tastes amazing.
