“Delicious food, friendly staff with great customer service. The ambiance is always relaxed whenever my husband and I come here from Paso. We were so happy that they were still open. Yes, folks, they are still open. The counter lady said they have no final date yet. So I'm not sure why someone yelped that they were closed for good...If I were you, I'd get my Filipino grub on before they close for good and for real. That's what my husband and I will be doing. LolSee you there“

“Came here for the first time and was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I later found out was the owner. Helly (owner) was very attentive and was there to answer any questions we had about the menu. We had pork skewers, chicken skewers, longsilong, and lechón kawali. All of it was DELICIOUS! ? The best part of my visit was what I witnessed while there. 1. Helly specially made a food dish that was not on the menu for a customer who was celebrating her birthday. 2. He let a customer order after closing even though her food would take 20mins to cook. I was amazed at such wonderful Hospitality! Sad to say I feel like in these times we don’t see this often, so when I was able to witness I was just in awe. You can tell he really cares about his customers and it shows. If you haven’t been I would Highly Recommend!! 10/10 chefs kiss ?“

“I first ate at J's kitchen when it was still at the mall. I had chicken adobo and liked it. Today was my first visit to its own restaurant and ordered chicken curry with a Taro drink recommended by my friendly server. Food and drink were very good. The curry sauce was, as advertised, both sweet and spicy. The chicken chunks were tender. The Taro drink kept giving me throat freeze, though, so finishing my meal took a bit. I walked in shortly after 11am. I was the first sit-down customer. I like the pastel purple interior and the space (I remember when this was the Beef Baron in the 1980s). My window seat was very comfortable. A radio station was playing in the background. Got to listen to a Tracy Chapman song. Crowds started coming in an hour later as I was leaving.“
