Came here for the first time and was immediately greeted by a gentleman who I later found out was the owner. Helly (owner) was very attentive and was there to answer any questions we had about the menu. We had pork skewers, chicken skewers, longsilong, and lechón kawali. All of it was DELICIOUS! ? The best part of my visit was what I witnessed while there. 1. Helly specially made a food dish that was not on the menu for a customer who was celebrating her birthday. 2. He let a customer order after closing even though her food would take 20mins to cook. I was amazed at such wonderful Hospitality! Sad to say I feel like in these times we don’t see this often, so when I was able to witness I was just in awe. You can tell he really cares about his customers and it shows. If you haven’t been I would Highly Recommend!! 10/10 chefs kiss ?

This place is a gem, and a bright spot for Filipino (good for the soul) food in Santa Maria! We stopped here for a quick snack, and ended up staying for dinner. The portions are generous, the food tastes homemade, from scratch, and from the heart. We tried some bbq and pancit, and the Halo-Halo is our new favorite dessert. Thanks for the pro-tip to mix-it-mix-it, hunting for all the little treasures was so much fun! While we were there we were greeted by the owner who was incredibly gracious and generous to us, sharing his stories about his restaurant and his connections to Filipino food, and we we’re charmed by his hospitality. So happy we stopped by here. It’s worth the food trip from SLO, and we can’t wait to come back!

I have to say, this was one of the best most enjoyable experiences I've had in Santa Maria since I've been here for the past Month. My boyfriend and I are in town for a year, originally from Los Angeles where Filipino food is easily accessible but this was our only option in town so we decided to stop by and give it a go. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner, Relly, who explained their menu in detail and assigned us a table. Through conversation, he and my boyfriend established they were both from the same general area in the Philippines which was nice.He shared a story as to how the restaurant concept came about and his family story which was nice! We enjoyed our conversation and feel we made a genuine connection. We decided to keep it simple and try their Longsilong, Pancit Bihon, and Lumpia. Everything tasted very fresh and full of flavor. Filipino food can often times be extra greasy and somewhat heavy but theirs felt much lighter. Emphasis on the freshness! Very happy with their food quality overall. Their portions were also very large which was nice. We had enough to take home and have as a late night snack! I also want to call out how crisp the cabbage was in the Pancit, you can tell it was very fresh!Relly was kind enough to deliver a complimentary Halo-Halo to our table as a welcome gift which I thought was very thoughtful and kind. We were actually shocked at how large and delicious it was! I cant give this spot enough praise! What Relly has done for himself and family by creating this incredibly delicious concept is amazing and from what I can see, our community appreciates it as well. We'll definitely be back to try some of their specialty and traditional menu items soon. Thanks Relly & Food Trip!

Decided to get the family out to try something new for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasnt too busy when we came in, only one other table therr at the time. But it was definitely a lot more filled by the time we left.Service was friendly and quick. They were very helpful with any questions we had and gave great recommendations. We were a bigger party so we ordered a bunch of different things and shared. Unfortunately they had run out of the sizzling sisig! Everything we ordered was phenomenal but one of the fam faves was ghe crispy pork (lechon kawali?). Will definitely be bringing the family back. One small thing is it can get smokey in there. A better ventilation for the restaurant could help when it really starts getting busy.

This place is pretty shabby. Def a no frills kind of place. My bf got the kare kare (beef brisket and tripe in peanut sauce), and I got the sisig bangus (flaked milk fish). The milk fish was ok. It was kind of dry, and it wasn’t super enjoyable after a

We stopped by Santa Maria for lunch on our way to Pismo Beach. I was excited to try some Filipino food, since we don't eat it often. This place seemed super authentic. The outside looked a little sketch, and the inside was drab. All the tables were full of dirty plates, but when we checked in at the front, they quickly cleared the plates away. My boyfriend got the kare kare ($21.95), which is beef brisket and tripe in peanut sauce, and I got the sisig bangus ($19), which is flaked milkfish. I tried my boyfriend's kare kare, and the beef brisket was pretty tender, and the peanut sauce was interesting. His dish didn't have much meat in it. The sisig bangus was just all right in my opinion. It was kind of dry even after dripping lemon over it. The crunchiness of it was kind of weird. The presentation of the dish was nice for both items. The food here seemed on the pricey side for what you get and for such a dingy restaurant.

Food is always great, but the timing is not as good. Wait staff work so hard and usually is just one person. She works hard. It got a little smokey inside but the door was open to air out the place.

Delicious food, friendly mom's and pop's restaurant with authentic Filipino food! The place is not much to look at outside or inside, but you don't need much when the food is so good! It's our family's favorite Asian restaurant in the area whenever we get a craving (which happens often lol). We always do family style and order at least several dishes to share. The pansit portion is huge! I always have leftover to look forward to the very next day (or that night :D).You know the place is authentic when every Filipinos you know tell you this is where they go if they want Filipino food outside of their home. With not many Asian food options in the area, this place has definitely exceeded my expectation!

Decent Filipino dishes when you miss your mom’s home-cooked Filipino foods: the Adobo and Pancit Canton dishes were pretty good.

I was Craving BBQ and decided to try this new place out. I did take out but the space looked clean and spacious. Not sure if it was the owner or a worker but, smile at the time of pick up, turned into a dissatisfied face when i didn't leave a tip. This is about the only negative I can say about this new restaurant but tipping on takeout is another talk for another time.I don't recall what the noodles name was but they had shrimp and veggies. Originally i thought the price was high but then I got the food and it's probably 4 portions. You get a family size takeout container and it is cooked very well and tastes delicious. The pork skewers were surprising because of how they're made on the stick. I was expecting kebabs but it's more of a schwarma style stacking on these. The pricing, again, made sense because there is a ton of meat on each stick, it's just packed down. The sauce on the meat was great and so was the citrus sauce on the side.Overall I would recommend this restaurant. Good pricing for great food and I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes.

As we entered the cafe we were greeted by a very nice young man and we were seated immediately and given our menu.We found the table and area we were at very clean. The young man that work there brought our food that was very nice and tasty and he was always there to see if we needed a refill on our drinks and I highly recommend this place for family and friends to go to.
