Santa Maria barbecue is known for its tri-tip but I recommend steaks of any cut over it.

It doesn't look much by the outside but it is delicious food inside. The head waiter for our table was very nice and helpful. From the assistance helpers to her were continuously coming up to us and asking if we wanted a to go box and we were obviously not ready to go. They must have asked us for at least five or six times so finally I had to say is there a problem with us being here and enjoying our meal. That is the reason why I gave it one last star after I said something they no longer came up. There were open tables so I was questioning why they kept asking us it was very annoying I hadn't seen my friend in a long time. However I will go there again. The salmon was very good and my friend had chicken which was very good.
We ordered to go so not a good opportunity to experience the atmosphere. I like Tri-Tip to be medium rare but it was closer to well done but still tasted great. We'll go back next time in town.

The wait time was an hour and we did not have the luxury to try it out this place.. I was told this was a great place to have the barbecue so perhaps next time when I come visit this down I'm going to try it..
