Wow!! What great food! My wife had an Ideal top sirloin that was tender and cooked to perfection! My salad with oak grilled chicken was excellent! We look forward to visiting again.
I was in Santa Maria for the first time. I asked the Santa Maria people in the class where to go for tri-tip, since tri-tip originated in Santa Maria. The Swiss Restaurant was a near unanimous recommendation. I went for lunch. I got the half-pound tri-tip sandwich with onion rings as my side; it also comes with a side of pinquito beans. Loved this place! Great atmosphere and old school vibe, prompt, friendly service, and one of the best steaks I've had in awhile! Will definitely return next time I'm here for work!
