I was very satisfied with the food and service
Was disappointing ?. Food selection was sub par. Not many sushi options. Weird selection since they had a Mexican food station with tacos and what-not. Not looking for that at a AYCE seafood/Chinese buffet at $25 a person but I'm assuming they are catering to high Latino customer traffic. They had crab legs but when I asked for melted butter they looked at me like "Who puts melted butter on crab legs?" Had to make my own by getting a bunch of butter packets and soaking them...read full review

We've been looking for a buffet with healthy food ever since Hometown Buffet closed several of their locations on the central coast. We go as often as possible to V Star Buffet and thoroughly enjoy every visit. If you arrive before 2pm their lunch is only $15. I love the fact that most of their foods do NOT contain MSG and they will tell you which food contains the MSG if you ask. Although it might not be Chinese in origin, I love their coleslaw.
