Terrible experience every time. Not sure how this whole foods has a 4.9 rating. They never have ingredients to make smoothies, there bakery items are always stale and they have a poor selection of items not to mention the staff is rude and not helpful. Will not be back to this whole foods. Absolutely

I’m stressed with all of my projects at school because college life wasn’t easy, For that reason, I chilled out to a renowned coffee shop. They have perfect coffees for my stressful mind. Also, the crews were serving me too well. All of their coffees were worth the pay. Knowing that they did their best to make me feel so calm and happy, I’m nothing but overwhelmed. I’ll come to visit again and again!

1425 Montoya avenue Santa Monica 90403 Traveler having second thoughts. I use to stop by from time to time or right before traveling, have been for years. But for now local business work. Having second thoughts about this whole membership. Is it worth it is it not. It's not worth it anyway too expensive. Salad bar is tiny. I'm going to Aldi's down the block where I live. They barely have any options at this Whole foods Market. You pay for prime but other places don't charge to get discounts, raise prices just for food. The cashier Diane was very nice always with a smile, great service, all her attention where I used to be a customer, people lined up, and all her focus, welcome a couple months ago some tall lady miss that kind of customer service in my area although didn't see her after awhile + sometimes I'd stop by their from time to time. We miss Janet my family, I she had a history with that area.Good customer service, I only came their because cashier's like Diane, Janet were very nice. When there is great customer service it makes a big difference. Jim

Friday 3/6/20 at 3:24 If you're anything like me, here's how your super fun Whole Foods experience will go: Step 1: Call ahead to place a juice order and wait 10 minutes without anyone ever picking up. Step 2: Show up at said juice bar, where you're informed they don't have the ingredients for what you want. Step 3: Order a different juice and do six laps around the store waiting, until you have to re-feed your parking meter. Step 4: Discover that after 20 minutes your juice hasn't yet been started and ask for a refund. Step 5: Be issued a refund by the manager who doesn't say a single world or make eye contact with you. Fun!!

The taller man with brown hair and a red hat working in the fish/meat department (on 1/6/20 at 5 pm) is not following health code and is not providing friendly customer service. I was in line and pointed to the poultry I wanted. He asked again and I pointed and said that chicken breast. And then he rudely said I can't see what the h you are pointing at so tell me is it bone in skin on or not. I thought oh well, so be it, but then I stuck around and overheard his interaction with the next customer. This customer asked for halibut. The worker did not change his gloves between poultry and fish. The customer didn't seem to notice until the man weighed the fish and the customer asked if they normally change gloves. To the workers credit he said yes we normally do, but I forgot. However, he was quite cavalier about it. He told the customer it is fine as is, just depends how you cook it. The customer was put off and clearly wanted some fish, but decided to pass given the contamination from poultry and rude treatment. It was clear that customer was very annoyed/upset too. The worker did not care. Based on the worker's bad attitude I think it is fair to conclude he generally does not follow protocol of decent customer service and cleanliness between fish and poultry. The fish from the poultry gloves was put back in the case. No one at WF is supervising or seems to care. I would not buy meat or fish from this WF in the future. It is disappointing. I wish the managers would take a more proactive role. Manny was not on the floor or anywhere to be found to voice this complaint to and the store manager was not in.

I LOVE Whole Foods! It's my favorite grocery store. Problem with this location is I've been three times. They never have the item I'm looking for. I was willing to look over the fact it's the tiniest whole foods location ever, if they actually had the items I was looking for. But, never fails! They don't have the stuff I'm looking for. The parking lot is Also a hot mess and way too tiny. Two stars for the friendly employees!

I like this Whole Foods because it's close and not as crazy packed as wilshire and 24th- however their prepared food bar needs to step it up. I've waiting upwards of 45 minutes (don't know why I never left) for a simple sandwich on an empty day. These people seem dazed out of their mind and just not interested in working. Very disappointing- I hope they can improve this part of the store.

Very small selection of fruits and vegetables. Cashiers are nice and friendly but short skinny manager guy rolled his eyes at me when I moved out of his way to let him pass as he seemed to be in a hurry. Don't know if being considerate and friendly is additional work but kinda bummed after I left this Whole Foods....

If I could I would not give any star , the slowest wholefoods unfortunately it's the closest to my work but every time I am there I get no sevice. The only reason i go there is green juice but they never have any one at the juice station to help and when they page someone it takes for ever untill a staff member comes by very poor managment.

Don't buy the cheese!!!! They prep the cheese right next to the loading dock, next to the restrooms, next to the wet mop station. If that wasn't enough to make you think how unsanitary that is, just wait. So on the way to the men's room, 4 feet from the cheese prep area, an employee comes in from the floor, grabs a chunk of cheese from the pile, shoves it in his mouth and goes upstairs to the office. I almost threw up. So disgusting. Whole Foods is amazing, but this place is third world.

Whole Foods should inspect the organic kale To make sure there is not hundreds of bugs in organic kales sold to customers

Pretty small location. Parking is even smaller, hard to get in and out. Not the nicest service, probably will not be coming to this location. I love Whole Foods Market stores, but unfortunately not this one.

The smallest Whole Foods I've ever been to. There's nothing wrong with small however there are a lot of cons than pros to this place. Here's where they fail... Salad Bar: Always half empty with wilted veggies. Soup Bar: Hit or Miss. Mostly Miss and always too salty or bland. Usually one type of soup a day. You'll be lucky if they have 3 in a day. Hot Bar: Most of the time it's garbage and questionable. It's pretty sad looking with only 6 items- always only 1 protein. Deli: The food is ok but the staff is so rude, they roll their eyes at you if you ask them to help you. Like it's too much effort for them to scoop food into a box or heat it up. Idk what the deal is with them. They just look so Miserable working there. The only thing good about this location is the front staff (meaning the cashiers and baristas-always happy and friendly), the packaged foods-good snacks and some of the frozen foods. But that's it. Who runs this location anyway? I don't think it's up to standard with the other locations. Is it even affiliated? It's just so disappointing.

Mick Jagger wrote a song about this Mini-Mini-Whole Foods: "You can't always find what you want...but if you try it sometime...you just might find...you can get what you need...." And that is true--they don't have Every single thing you will find at the big build out Whole Foods, but they have what you need. And because it's small, they actually manage their inventory well. It's a very fast in and out efficient Whole Foods that may be the smallest WF in the USA. I enjoy shopping here. And as for Mick--he loves the wheat-grass shots.
