Small portions but lots of flavor 😋
I had a great date night here. The place is beautiful. The food was fantastic and the servers were friendly and on top of things.
VERY GOOD. Great vibe at the restaurant. Beautiful. I had grilled salmon with side of cauliflower and it was very good. Chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Recommend this spot!

Big Sur Grill is one of the most incredible restaurants. The food is so delicious, so fresh, and so healthy. The setup is beautiful, and the atmosphere is a great vibe, with a cozy space full of plants. It feels like sitting in a garden. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with most dishes grilled.
Dishes like the watermelon salad, the tuna, the Big Sur salad, and the branzino are outstanding. The Meza platter, wood-fired grilled octopus, filet, and Branzino are top notch. The steak is seasoned to perfection, and the Mediterranean dips, pita, and wine are incredible. For dessert, the cookies and ice cream, called “Milk and Cookies,” is beyond, and the lemon cake is amazing too.
Service is attentive and kind, and the owners are very nice. Prices are reasonable, though some find them on the higher side for portions. There is plenty of free parking on Wilshire. The vibe is cozy, great for a get together with friends or a date night. It is a very cool, independent restaurant on Wilshire in Santa Monica, one block east of Fia and Fia Steak. Highly recommended.
