I visited the Brit when I was in town for work and needed a place to watch an Eagles playoff game and my god was this place the perfect find. As a Philly sports fan, I felt right at home with nearly one hundred other hootin’ and hollerin’ Eagles fans, and even though the birds lost, it was still an incredible time. The DJ played great music, sound effects, lead chants, and even tossed around some Eagles merch. I mostly hung out in the main area, but they also have a pool table upstairs and a backyard patio with bleachers for watching the game. The service was okay, but it was very busy so understandable. Also, as far as a cheesesteak goes outside of Philly, this place has a great one. They also served it with plenty of really good fries which was a bonus. Definitely my favorite bar in the LA metro.

I can see why Philly fans are starting to go elsewhere now. Once was a good place to watch the games but now it feels like they taking advantage of Philly fans. Fake Philly bar. Question peoples jerseys of Philly teams because they can’t even identify other Philly sports team!!!! Now I see why people have started meeting up for the games at other spots. Food is bang average which wasn’t an issue you knew what your getting but now with poor food, workers that don’t know a Philly baseball, basketball or soccer jersey and ask you take it off, and slow service it’s now a dud for me. I’ll be joining the rest of the people that left to meet elsewhere for next season!

This was a pretty cool English bar. Good spot for an in between drink or two. Different kind of vibes and plenty of seating. Plenty of Beatles decorations as well.

Was in town for the weekend to visit family and friends. After visiting the Santa Monica Pier decided to stop by this place because it was okay to smoke, a very rare thing in California. Doorman was absolutely a rockstar when it came to customer service, friendliness and inviting us to come and hang out this bar. Live music a very pretty bartender who was fast with the drinks. A great spot to chill, talk, listen, and have fun. After leaving L.A. 33 yrs ago, it's nice to see there are still spots that were like it was in the late 80s and 90s.

The bartender on Sunday gets five stars.
Atmosphere is cool, but it's just a pub.
The fish and chips... That was the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The worst.
I wanted to try there Philly cheese steak egg rolls because that sounded cool, but after the fish and chips I knew I shouldn't even try.

humbug ditto

Bullshit!!! They aren't open and it's 11:30 on Monday!

One of the “regulars” came up to me and tried to intimidate me because I was listening to music on my phone. He said the speaker phone “bothered him.” Yeah good luck at this place
