Good vibes and good drinks
Always good food and friendly service. Never a bad experience.
If you know LA, you know this place. This is a hot bar and restaurant with awesome food. Take me back to my fraternity days in college. 80s theme with music and decorations in this place is Lively most of the time even at lunch. Pizza was great. Wide selection of drinks. This is the most place for LA and this Santa Monica location is great, better than the sunset strip location for lunch, whereas the sun strip is more of a night venue for college students thru 20-30s at night.

Based on the reviews, Barney’s Beanery is a great place to host a watch party or corporate event, with TVs galore and a massive screen with a projector for major sports games. The food spread is incredible, with highlights including the fireman's chili, 3 piece chicken tenders, nachos, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, BBQ bacon juicy Lucy burger, and braised beef nachos. The menu comes attached to a license plate. There is a large selection of draft beer and a full bar, with good Happy Hour choices and priced options from 4-7 PM Monday thru Friday. The staff are really helpful, polite, patient, and attentive, keeping check-ins to see if anything is needed. The atmosphere is good, with plenty of TVs covering the whole wall, pool tables upstairs, and a more quiet relaxed zone downstairs. The place is covered with license plates, and the men's bathroom has beer kegs for urinals and was clean. It is absolutely worth every penny, with acceptable prices and size, and the food made with love.
