“It's a cool pub in the middle city neighborhood. There's a long bar and many high tables. The background music was not overly loud. We could comfortably converse with each other. Top notch service. The young man was fast, warm and devoted. All the dishes we had were delicious. Short Rib Poutine and Mussels&Shrimp are my favorites.“

“Went here for brunch and it was good, nothing too high end, very casual. The servers were so kind and I asked for whipped cream and they were happy to provide it with a lil spoon. They have a pool table and other games upstairs but you need cash. What I really liked here tho was the decor. Very retro car theme and I really liked their ceiling liscence plate decor as a liscence plate enthusiasts. I'd recommend to check it out if around the area! But more for the experience than the food“

Parking: Parking in back was $20, valet only. Another lot nearby has a sign saying $10 but it's false advertising - $25 is the real rate, $10 is only with validation from one venue (not the Blue Birdy).“

“I was recommended to go to this place from a mate who used to go there all the time when he lived in LA before it was renovated. my first night in America and This was my go to venue and I can say I was definitely NOT disappointed. There was an awesome vibe, I was on my own so I just asked for a spot at the bar. The food was awesome a good variety to select and what I had I was really happy with. Above all else Amber at the bar was a total gem. she was engaging. She was Friendly, was busy, She knew her craft and was very welcoming. Amber is credit to the owners and what they're are building. Absolutely would be coming back to this place again.“

I had it w/o alcohol, but the How the West Was Won was really good.

Parking: We arrived during a low-traffic time, and the restaurant nextdoor was closed, so there was plenty of space in the back-door parking; but it's a small lot, so it might be a bit difficult during busier times.“

“This had been my first time visiting Plan Check Kitchen in a few years. I noticed a lot had changed. We visited for a Saturday brunch. Surprisingly, there had only been about five people in the restaurant , with us being the only ones dining outdoors. It did start to pick up as we were leaving.

Food and Beverage: Plan Check offers an unlimited Mimosa brunch. If you plan on having more than one Mimosa during your visit, I would suggest going with this option. It’ll be much more cost efficient.

In my opinion, the food wasn’t as tasty as my past experiences. We started off with the buffalo cauliflower. This is a great vegan option. It’ll taste even better with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Although the waffles were appetizing, they weren’t soft. However, for some, that might be a good thing. The chicken was much better. The French toast was the least tasteful. It was bland and the bananas that they were topped with had no flavor.

Billing: Like most restaurants, Plan Check uses the handheld device to take payment.

Overall, this is still a good eatery. I preferred the location on Wilshire that closed years ago, but this one isn’t too far behind in regard to service and indoor ambience. This is a place that you can visit while casually catching up with friends or a quick bite with coworkers.“

“Joined some friends for Karaoke night and found the bar pretty full and very entertaining. A special shout out to Peaches, our bartender, who was exceptionally friendly, quick, and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of even during a busiest moments.

Parking: There is a parking lot next door, it was $10 for the day. We were only there for about 3 hours or so.“
